Yeah, i hope it gets promoted in Japan really well considering it'll be the last stop, they just might as well promote it there heavily, black swan made more than 20 million dollars, so I dunno if I should go with IM numbers in Japan, let's see, hopefully more than 12 M to reach 450 M ww.

They've had a Thor Trailer for awhile now. It's on the Japanese Thor site. it had some different scenes from the ones we saw.

tHOR is 436 M ww, bom not updating overseas gross of Thor, it has less than 500K on their tally compared to UIP.

anyway, Thor will probably make 3 or 4 M more domestic, so yeah, just 10 M more in Japan to reach 450 M, though im not hearing news they're promoting it there

Me, personally. I think they're waiting on what Cap does in the BO before announciung sequel dates. In 2013, all we have confirmed is IM3. Marvel likely will have a 2nd film that year, and I think Thor 2 and Cap 2 would be likely choices, but which comes first? I think Marvel is waiting to see Cap's BO returns before deciding that. I think both get sequels, but they won't be officially announced until Marvel sees Cap's returns.

So its gonna cross the $177 Million mark Domestically this weekend.

You guys think it can pull in another $3 Million Domestic before its run is over to top X-Men Origins?

I don't know. BOM doesn't show the numbers yet, but I noticed that here in the Boston area, it really dropped a LOT more screens as of Friday. It seems like it's at just 2 or 3 theaters, total, within a 25 mile radius of Boston (all of them outlying towns, too). Meaning, it's effectively gone from theaters here.

Thor is still at our Theater. Only one screen tho and the company has two different theaters one on the North side by me and one on the south side both with 12 screens each.
They can afford to hold a movie for a long time.
