I'm sooo glad I'm living this Marvel-superheroes cinematic era. I remember looking back when I was a kid thinking 'woah, I wish I could've lived through The Incredible Hulk/Spider Man TV series while it was broadcasted'.
Now I'm just a 25-year-old adult/kid and I will say, hopefully, many many years from now that I saw The Avengers coming together on the big screen. Like a lot of people claim to have experienced Star Wars back then. Hopefully this will become the 'golden decade for superhero movies'.

Stop comparing this to the Batman.

Tones of the movies will be 100% different.

Neither gave away much, but face it where the Bat will be all grit and serious substance

Avengers will be epic and filled with amazing effects and things we are all just so waiting to see.

But face it...... if the Avengers Trailers had ended with an over the shoulder shot to the Hulks green mass approaching Thor as Thor says

"your big..... but I've fought bigger..."

Followed by.... "Hulk Smash!!!"

fade to black this thing would be OFF THE CHARTS

even if it would be called a copy of the Bat

This is the best I can do... sound is bad but you also had the crowd noise over the last part of (Tony talking to Thor).

Nick: Trouble sleeping?

Even till now, I’ll never really understand that line.lol I mean it’s reasonable to assume that at that point in the MCU, Fury had no idea that CA was still alive, the Hulk was considered a menace, and Thor’s existence wasn’t known to anyone. I am pretty sure that line was edited from the first Iron Man & I am sure they had some idea of other people with powers out there for him to say it by then

some people confirmed that thor was indeed throwing mjolnir at hulk at the end of the teaser....so ya there should be some banter between them in the movie

I guarantee you that when the official trailer hits, if that scene is indeed in the film itll be there.

maybe he is referring to shield. he never says super heroes, just heroes. also we don't know how big the MCU is at this point, maybe there are other heroes out there who we won't see till later, but shield is aware of already.

True; though given on how connected things are, you would have thought that the heroic deeds of the other/yet to be revealed heroes would have gotten noticed by the public.

they can't start throwing out names, they will just retcon them in later. im sure in the avengers movie it might get explained more. maybe there will be a scene with fury going over files of various people we might know. something as simple as in X2, a screen full of names.

fury could also be referring to the non marvel studios films. just a sort of nod to the other marvel movies that were made, but legally they can't say it. maybe this is their way of covering their bases, so if and it's a big if, they ever get back the fantastic four, spider-man, and x-men they will have a starting point for them set up already.
