I like the shorter more relaxed swept over hair rather than the extreme ringlets from IM2...

IM2 gave us a taste of what BW is going to be, and quite frankly I'm happy to see her in the Avengers. If Whedon writes a great script, BW will get her moment in the sun, and she certainly won't be a "waste of space" or a damsel in distress, either.

Question: At the end of CA:TFA did anyone else get the feeling that it was really Black Widow in disguise that came into Steves faux-40's bedroom? It sure sounded like ScarJo's voice and even kinda resembled her mannerisms.
But honestly, I really can't see why she would even need to be disguised...it's not like he would know her. Would have been cool to see it be her though. Missed opportunity?

No. It was Amanda Righetti. And she will also be in Avengers. Why the heck would ScarJo be in that type of disguise at all?

That's what I said. It didn't seem it would make sense to have her be disguised other than not giving it away to the audience that it was really the present and not the 40's.
I guess that I answered my own question in the same post.
I think that they should have used BW though. Would have been a cool tie-in.

Couple of things I notice from those interviews...

- Scar Jo's "I'm incredibly flexible" might be the greatest line EVER.
- Renner is definitely hitting that

And the funny thing is that in the comics, Black Widow has been involved with most of the Avengers.lol

If my memory serves me correct, she's been known to have been involved with:

1. Iron Man

2. Captain America

3. Bucky

4. Hawkeye

Hell, if rumors are true, then she'll likely be involved with Bruce Banner in this film.lol

Thor seems to be the only one safe from Widow's Touch in either films or comics.lol
