I laughed soooooo hard when I read this! Yeah, Iron Man 2 is the least of my favorite Marvel Studios films. To go deeper into the subject at hand, my top 3 fav CBMs based on Marvel characters are X2, SM2 & X-Men: First Class. Let's see if The Avengers challenges the aforementioned titles.

Cap I'm seeing this weekend (was away last

) so excluding it till then:

1.Iron Man - 9/10
2.Thor - 9/10
3.Iron Man 2 - 8/10
4.Incredible Hulk - 8/10

But I don't want to vote Iron Man ahead of Thor on the poll as Thor is more my kind of thing.

Although it'll be a close one anyways, glad that Marvel Studios has delivered enough consistent awesome in order to make this a bit of a race, although I'm surprised TIH is getting so little love!

Look, I really enjoyed TIH, but that's just where it sits for me comparitively. Just because it's not ranked ahead of others, doesn't mean it isn't getting love :P

Like Wolvie said, I'd bet most of the people who voted for the others liked Hulk fine.

I dont get this place, when Thor first came out everyone was hailing it as the best ever, now it cant compete with Iron Man OR Cap. Cap was good, but it was just that for me, nothing special, so I really dont get all the praise its getting.

It always happens with new superhero movies. If the movie has enough action there's all that yay. After a while people start seeing it for what it really was.

I've got to admit, I thought Thor was more consistently good than Cap. Cap had such a strong opening, but the whole change in pacing around the montage up until the end detracted from my emotional investment. With Thor, for me it had several very strong and well placed emotional high points, culminating in the end brother vs brother battle. Cap lost all the great emotional momentum it had from the beginning and didn't pick up until he was flying the plane (which, from then on, was definitely great again).

I personally don't really like comparing all the films though, because in my mind they are all perfect as they all achieved EXACTLY what they set out to do, which is establish these characters and bring them to life. I think each film did that very well and more than made up for any weakness in pacing or plot simplicity.

Green Hornet & Green Lantern beg to differ. No one was ever calling those the 'best ever' or whatever. But something of a legitimate case can be made for each of Marvel's 3 movies this year. However, what is truly best will always be in the eye of the beholder ultimately.

Cap was great. I would put it 3rd between Thor and Iron Man 2. For top spot I can't really choose between Iron Man & Thor.
