if you notice in these pics.....

the "lines" on his waist and thighs.....

in the back, there appears to be a hint of red........

could this mean the entire portion be colored red later on??

could be nothing......but just interesting.......

Cavill wasnt kidding when he said that the suit would look very differently from the classic suit but still be recognizable as Superman.

I dont know about some of you but those raised design things are awesome. Theyre MUCH better looking than the one in the new comics costume.

I know I just said it, but it makes it look more alien which I like. I'm really happy to see the suit break away from tradition so well. Amazing what a hi res picture can do to dispel fears.

Routh looks like an ant compared to Cavill. That is definitely some cool stuff.

I also notice that the "scales" don't look nearly as thick as we first thought either. It's basically just the same kind of subtle texture we saw on the Spidey suit.

Aaaaaand my love just sorta died. It's over designed for the sake of change. Much like the new Spider-Man suit and The Dark Knight suit. It's just a bunch of design choices and awkward lines for the sake of changing it. I'm not saying it's UGLY, but it feels forced.

It's not a bad suit, at all. It definitely gives off the alien feel, for sure and there are a lot of nice parts about it, but it's just faaaaaar too complicated for the sake of change. The Superman suit works so well because it's simple. This is quite the opposite. I like it better when it was just two or three lines, not the whole 7000 lines and v-shapes. Still, I like it.
