X-MEN SPOTLIGHT
Written by JOHN RHETT THOMAS
Cover by MIKE MCKONE
The X-Men head to the front of the class in May with a SPOTLIGHT all their own! First up is an in-depth account with writer Jeff Parker of X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, the much- beloved series that happens to share a name with the blockbuster movie! Then, we investigate the four-color pasts of Magneto and Emma Frost — two Marvel characters who’ve straddled the line between good and evil. We also catch up with Kieron Gillen, newly ensconced as writer of UNCANNY X-MEN, Marvel’s flagship mutant title for almost fifty years! And speaking of those classic days, we’ll take a look at some of Chris Claremont’s greatest hits during the X-Men’s ’80s heyday!

The Wolverine & Jubilee comic is stupid for one fundamental reason: There are vampires out there who have their thirsts for blood completely under their control, and the X-Men haven't consulted a single one of them. Thanks to Cyclops shooting Blade in the back, they can't exactly turn to him. Psylocke and Shadowcat have enough connections with MI:13 to give them a meeting with Spitfire, but they didn't do that either. Wolverine just packed the girl up, moved her to a dim city, and went all Black Snake Moan on her.

X-MEN #1: 20TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION
Written by CHRIS CLAREMONT
Pencils & Cover by JIM LEE
In late 1991, bolstered by the popularity of UNCANNY X-MEN’s all-star creative team of Chris Claremont and Jim Lee, Marvel launched a second monthly mutant title: X-MEN! Now, twenty years later, the double-sized inaugural issue of that run is remastered, reimagined and recolored in modern style — gatefold cover and all — by colorist Thomas Mason! The X-Men’s all-new Blue and Gold teams have never looked more heroic, Magneto and his Acolytes have never seemed so dangerous, and Jim Lee’s kinetic action sequences practically leap off the page! Revisit a seminal moment in mutant history — like you’ve never seen it before!

so Joseph is back and evil? when he died sacrificing himself for the greater good? I wonder if his personality imprinted on magneto and the evil magneto presence created a new Joseph clone..i know..not likely..but it would make Joseph being a bad guy make sense
