Well damn I concede he ****ed up with that pluralization. Careful with your plurals fellow posters. I'm guessing he meant he doesn't want to see that damn "lost his hand" plot thread used once again with Aquaman and quite frankly neither do I.

Hey if it were up to me every book would have one. For example I think The Flash is right by steering in such a progressive direction with Barry's friend. I just don't want an amputee Aquaman anymore. Not even with a kick ass holy water hand. I strongly feel that he needs to be have both hands intact in case he ever has to perform an opera.

I see no point in having both hands if he's just gonna cover them up with dishwashing gloves.

At least the gloves don't look out of place and actually coordinate with the rest of his suit; unlike Hal

So, should Batman have his hands cut off, too?

Only if he fears the Palmolive like Aquaman apparently does.

Aquaman can only be whole when he loses that hand again and reclaims the super-awesome water hand. It's one of comics' great paradoxes.

It'd be nice if he could go back to being a feral child raised by dolphins before winding up at the lighthouse too, but I know when to cut my losses.

Even if Aquaman had the water hand right now people would still complain: "I CAN'T SEE AQUAMAN'S OTHER HAND! IT KEEPS GETTING LOST IN THE OCEAN BACKGROUND!"

That hand did nothing for him. Those books still sucked.

I'm tired of these silly gimicks with this character. Even this trident he's carryin around. What good is it?? It looks cumbersome. It stabs things and people.....so does a sword or a knife and both would be easier to carry. Why the trident?? Because it looks COOL?? No. Because it makes sense?? No.

Now if it starts to shoot lasers or create force fields or boost his strength, then I'm down with the golden fork.

Raised by dolphins > raised by wolves

And both of them > raised by humans

Before, when it was first introduced in the 90s it could do energy blasts and Tempest even used it for its magical powers to enhance his own to make himself powerful enough to do certain spells.

But this trident and its origins are clearly going to be different. I don't think it is Poseidon's trident when the character that mentions "he might be looking for it" still doesn't even know where Atlantis is. Iono, it's a stretch IMO if it's still Poseidon's trident.

If it is I wonder if we'll get a crossover with Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman and Aquaman fighting Poseidon and his legions if sea monsters would be crazy fun

He probably used to work in a meat market in a grocery store.

Are you crazy? There was an entire arc dedicated to the hand and it created tons of stories not to mention villains and it was a really neat visual. The hand also made Black Manta even more bad ass than he was before.

I'll agree it looks cumbersome but i always think he should have a weapon and for a sea fairing hero a Trident makes sense. A sword is too generic and again I hope the origins of this Trident or Pentadent are explored further.
