Cobie Smulders will be a good Maria Hill.It doesn't matter if she has indoor or outdoor scenes.I just hope she plays her well.

Interesting read.

I hope Marvel *does* use Maria Hill again, not only in Avengers sequels but I could see a "Nick Fury Agent of SHIELD" movie with her getting a more substantial role.

What I found most interesting is that Smulders was not given a trainer by the producers. That signals that her character remains mostly desk-bound in the film, which leaves me to wonder how significant she is. Since I dislike Hill intensely I wouldn't be averse to seeing her stay on the helicarrier for the duration, or even die in a random attack.

The one scene I've seen of her in the teaser trailer shows her firing a pistol, so she gets at least *some* action scenes.

Moira McTaggert went from being a geneticist and all-around badass in the comics to some sort of junior Fed who gets hit with every sexist put-down imaginable. She stripped off in her very first scene, Xavier mind-****ed her to erase her memories and in her last scene her superiors treated her like a moron.
