anyone think they will end the film ala Batman Begins or just a final swing like we've seen in the Raimi trilogy? I'm hoping we have some clue as to what lies ahead of Spidey whether it be a short cameo of a future vilain like Norman or to something of that effect.

I think that we will see Norman towards the end with some hints of his transformation into Green Goblin.

Honestly I think they'd benefit from having the 2nd film be all new villains and Osborn looming large in the backround(but not as far in the backround as he'll be in this film) and then pay off with GG in the 3rd film.

Ending... another hint to more information about Peter's parents. It seems like the trailer is hinting that Connors is only the first step he has to finding out the truth.

I don't want Goblin so soon. We had Joker again in a sequel. BUT that was YEARS afterwards. Third sounds best. And kill Gwen Stacy in the third too. End with MJ closing the door to support him like in the comics.

yea it doesn't help when me and the theater started clapping and cheering when Pete pimp smacks Mary Jane. I don't think raimi intended the audience to cheer lol

I think they'll mention Norman in a line or two with this movie.

Cast him for a small role in the 2nd film/cast for actual villain role.

Big finale with villain role of Green Goblin/Significant role in story whether or not Norman dies in Amazing Spidey 2.

If they did cast Norman and he is in fact, in the movie...best movie secret in years!(don't think so though.)

Just read many reactions to Trailer #2 over at CBM, lots of Raimi fans and Bat fans and Avengers fans over there making negative useless complaints, they always have to whine and post biased comments.

I bet they'll hint that Norman is coming back from his business trip towards the end of the movie, ala Batman begins.

Actually, shouldn't this be where Van Adder comes into play.

His character in this film should play as a set up for Norman. Like Van Adder and Norman are good friends or something and he carries over into Amazing Spidey 2.

He's not van adder anymore remember? They changed his characters name so who knows his connection to Norman now. Probably still to oscorp especially the way the lizard went after him in the trailer.

And as far as Norman being n the movie it's still a possibility. I know most people think its impossible to b surprised now in the age of the Internet but it still is. Wouldn't you rather be surprised that Norman is in the flick as opposed to knowing who he is and and seeing his scenes already?

Seriously would go nuts if he was in this movie or referenced at the end of the film.

It'd be like the Joker in Batman Begins...I was only 11 but I **** bricks.

Yeah, his name is Dr. Ratha now. Who knows how big of a role he plays or what that even is. We got a quick glimpse of him in the trailer with the Lizard trying to get into his car on the bridge.

They gotta reference him. Oscorp is an intregal part of the flick and to not mention the founder and guy in charge would b lazy storytelling. The benefit of the second go round of movies is they can plot out a cohesive storyline that can span across films and make connections

And that's exactly what they are doing, so exciting!

It's a shame Raimi didn't do the same, but making a Spider-Man film was risky as **** back then for the industry.

yeah to be fair, they weren't even sure they were getting a second film and there was a certain way comic book flicks were done then as opposed to now. They're much more serialized now as opposed to then they were very self contained..no one wanted to run that risk of the story either not feeling complete or the audience coming in for part 2 and having no idea how it connects to part 1 if they didn't see it
