What X-Men characters besides Wolverine should be in this?

Betsy Braddock has a lot of connections/past with the Hand in the comics, and her and Wolverine have been paired up and given time together plenty. It wouldn't be hard to work her story into Wolverine's story as well. In the comic history, Wolverine knows things about Psylocke's past as well (her time with the Hand). It could be a neat story, them helping the other about their own pasts. Just my 2 cents.

20th Century Fox has rights to the Hand, so even though they were in Elektra, it's not impossible (quite the opposite) for them to show up in Wolverine. I think they were mentioned in the script reviews of the sequel if memory serves.

But Psylocke as a member of the X-Men would still be better.

They would mess her up. Psylocke in an Uncanny X-Force movie would be the only way I could see them doing the character justice or having decent screen time. In an X Men flick she will just be thrown in with other random characters that have no realtionships in the comics together and do nothing. Shes the best choice for The Wolverine. Her connection to the hand/ Japan/Wolverine stories like others have said makes her fit alot more then other X men and Psylocke fighting Ninjas=awesome. She would actually have people to fight haha. With the way X4 and X-First class 2 have been set up I think The Wolverine is her best bet for some screen time and somewhat faithfull adaptation.

I would guess sometime before X1 or after Origins. But I dont think anything is confirmed. Guess they could have it after X3 if they wanted.

This movie is coming from a graphic novel, the material is already there, just shoot it and don't make unnecessary changes and add unneeded stuff, like characters and situations.

David Slade had confirmed that the only mutant in the script was Wolverine and that the tone was more of a crime-drama rather than sci-fi action.

I really hope FOX hasn't ruined that.

As long as the mutant/X-character would fit in the story and isnt being added just to satisfy the needs for mutants I could care less. I doubt we will get a 100% adaptation. None of the X Men films followed the comics exact. If The Wolverine is the changing point then thats awesome.

If they had to add X-Men, then Psylocke cause she has connecstions to the the characters in the story. I would pay a ****load of money to see her and Wolverine slicing up ninjas.

You must be having a brain fart, cause of course Fox make both the Daredevil/Elektra movies, and the X-Men/Wolverine films.
Come to think of it, that is real lucky, as of course the Hand plays pivotal roles in the lives of DD, Elektra and Wolverine.

I didn't know that Wolverine was supposed to be the only mutant in the script, and i haven't read the CC/FM book in over a decade, but wasn't Silver Samurai in the book? I was looking forward to seeing him in the film.

Maybe if we the fans push for a more accurate translation we will get it, but f we sell out and say yes give me someone as long as they fit the story then I guaranty that they will screw it up. Yes Silver Samurai is in the story so he should be in the movie

Isnt Storm, Nightcrawler and Rogue in the story? If its before X1 there not gonna touch any of those characters. Some things/characters will need to be changed. !00% adaptation is not gonna happen.

Ill sell out for Psylocke. Fine ass British/Asian telepathic ninja chicks is something every movie could use.

simple don't go past the 4 part mini, and you don't have to show the X-men.
