I can't get enough of both trailers. I've watched them more times than I can count. I read Avengers will clock in at around 145 minutes. Assuming we get a couple minute post-credits scene, I think that's a pretty good number.

^Same here, I love putting my bluray player on just to watch it on my big screen. It's just a very well put together trailer. The next one that I find to be just as good, and find myself constantly watching it, is the Titanic 3D trailer. Now that trailer gives me freaking goosebumps, and I'm not really a fan of the movie to begin with.

No one responded well at all to the Avengers trailer when I went to see John Carter (which I quite liked), lots of jokes and some complaining... Oh wait, that wasn't the trailer, it was the fact that there was no damn sound during the previews. By the time they fixed it after I went out and told them, there was about 15 seconds left in the trailer.

If I get the itch to actually see John Carter, I'll just make sure I watch the Avengers trailer before I go to counteract any possible stupidity from the theater I go to.

I hope the trailer is in front of Hunger Games. I don't want to see John Carter

I saw JC yesterday. I loved it and will definitely be getting it on Blu-Ray. The Avengers trailer was awesome on the big screen. There was an older couple sitting behind me and after the trailer ended, the lady said "That was pretty intense"..lol. Her husband hated the MIB trailer though, i heard him say, "that looks silly" or something like that

When I went to see John Carter today, they played the first trailer instead of the new one. Maybe it being a 2D showing had something to do with it?

I'm seeing this movie in 3D. I've been burned out on 3D for awhile now, but I wasn't able to make it to the 2D showing of John Carter today so I saw it in 3D. John Carter's 3D was nothing special like most 3D films, but the new Avengers trailer in 3D was badass.
I have to salute whoever did the post conversion on that film. The scenes that really hit me was when Hawkeye was falling off the building and the scene where Iron Man is flying and shooting at the alien ships in the city. |

Good to hear about the 3D. Glad it seems worth it. Saw Thor in 3D, opted out of Cap's 3D accordingly

I knew the 3D would be good in this. The only reason it wasn't filmed in 3D is because it wasn't Joss' style. All the effort that would have gone into filming it in 3D was just "converted" to the converting process.

I went to see JC in IMAX 3D specifically to see the Avengers trailer to see how the 3D looked. It looks fantastic, best i've seen in nearly ANY movie to date. Just from the trailer its up there with the best 3D i've seen. Was there even ANY "object blatantly flying right at you" moment in the trailer?? I don't remember one. Its very well done, smart 3D. Not gimmicky and overdone.

John Carter was amazing! I didnt see it in 3d though. So i cant speak on the 3D of the avengers trailer. Though it was an awesome sight to see on the big screen

from all the good reviews i might consider seeing JC, i'll ring the theatre just beforehand to make sure the trailer is attached, though I'm sure asking a question like that will get a few laughs from them but I dont care.

well the theater may not have 100% control over that or may not even know what trailers may be attached

The studios control what trailers are playing with each movie, but if you can get in touch with the theater projectionist they should be able to tell you. Like i was working projection yesterday and avengers was the last trailer with jc 3D, while imax has the hobbit and wrath of the titans.

While most theatres tend to change it up, I like how some chains still play a trailer for a movie that's like one week away from coming out, or is already out.

I wanted to like crazy. I was really ticked off and disappointed. JC was pretty good but for the price I paid I would have been happier if I saw the new trailer in 3d

I was just watching a South Park rerun and they ran the full Avengers trailer during the last commercial break. It's funny because it was during an episode of South Park where the kids are waiting to see a Terrance and Phillip movie trailer during the last commercial break of Russel Crowe's show. First time I've seen the trailer on TV. I wonder if it was a coincidence?
