Following the steps of my worthy nemesis, I've platinumed MGS3. I sat down at midnight one night and got the Peace Walker and Markhor trophies in one playthrough. Annoyingly enough the fashionista and face paint trophies glitched so I went to sleep for 5 hours then woke up and did it all again

Added another plat to my list, Assassins Creed Revelations. Was actually easier than I thought it would be as I nitially wasnt going to attempt it. The multiplayer trophies are ALOT more reasonable and I got them all in one weekend. They had double XP on Superbowl weekend which made it a breeze. I didnt think Id be able to 100% all the memories but one you know what to do, its not that bad

I'm having so much fun with Mass Effect 2 right now. I'm totally going for the 100% and then I can't wait for 3. I wish I got into this game earlier, it's amazing.
I'm about 30hrs into my first playthrough and then time to jump into Insanity difficulty.

Just got my first platinum in quite some time. Just got #18 with Saint's Row the Third.
I haven't really played my PS3 in a while, but I still have to replay the Uncharted Trilogy on Crushing to finish off those platinums, as well as the Insanity playthrough in Mass Effect 2.

Come tomorrow I'll be aiming for Golden Abyss and MotorStorm RC plats. Maybe Plants vs Zombies too.
Can't wait

My game time is just about 42 hours. I'd say it was pretty easy. Some of the hardest stuff was the vehicle thefts since I would usually get 4 or 5 stars on some of them, meaning a lot of gang members or cops would chase after me and blow up the vehicle, but I learned to just use the forgiveness calls to get around that. Other than that, I'd say its definitely easy to get, though you will have to grind on some of the challenges.

Anyone ever see this? Its the Top 10 earned Platinum Trophies
Quote:
I am proud to say I have all of them. Im surprised to see Borderlands up there. While not a challenge, it was really time consuming to get and I didnt think most people would stick with it that long. MW2 was probably the hardest of those listed there to get and mainly bc of Spec Ops mode. You definetly need a partner for that to make it easier but even then its a challenge. The rest are pretty fairly easy to get and are great games which makes this not too surprising |

From the list, I only have for PS3:
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves God of War 3 inFamous I got the platinum for all of them, too. InFamous was the easiest, but really fun.

I have ACII, inFamous and Sly. I still have to finish the Crushing playthrough for the Uncharted games.I borrowed MW2 from my nephew and tried to do that one, but I gave up halfway because I really am not a fan of FPS. Haven't played any of the others though.

I just hit level 16. 20 platinums and a little over 2100 trophies in general at this point.

I spent the past couple of weeks trying to get the Platinum in NBA 2K11 once I finally started getting back into it. I got a lot of the harder/time consuming ones out of the way, but I just realized today that I can't get one of them because it requires access to the server, which is no longer online since the new season has started.
This is another reason why I hate online trophies, especially the ones that are based on some add-on that is only available for a limited time. I had a similar issue with one from Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, which has a trophy that came from a DLC pack that is no longer available in the PSN. I wish they would be kept trophies like this separate like they are in Uncharted 2. I hate getting every single-player trophy in a game only to realize that I have to put even more time in the MP to get it.

Are you talking about the NBA Today trophy? I remember getting that out of the way early on. But either way, that platinum is a b**** because of the ranked wins online and 20 total, and a still glitchy-ish teammate rating trophy.

Yeah, I had gotten the game during the summer and didn't really feel like bothering with the trophies at the time. I usually don't bother with sports games because all of them usually come over time, unless you make a serious effort to complete every goal. But I got just about all of the My Player trohies out of the way and figured I might as well try for the rest. But it doesn't feel like it'd be worth it knowing that I can't get the Platinum.

Just got #19 with Assassin's Creed Revelation. Thankfully the multiplayer stuff wasn't too much and I managed to get those trophies in a day.

Platinum #20 goes to Back to the Future: The Game, and in doing so, I just reached level 15.

Just finished Saints Row The Third and all of it's DLC. Quite a fun plat, I just wish I knew that I could've been rolling with unlimited ammo had I just gone through the rest of the upgrades in the phone menu. Didn't do it until the near end but oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

yeah but super long. I almost gave up but I kept with it. I only really have the challenges and the vehicle thefts, the latter of which is annoying. How is the DLC?

Yeah, it's pretty time consuming but I enjoyed it, I finished with about 43hrs or so.
I loved the DLC and they were pretty hilarious. The Trouble with Clones is so WTF and crazy it had me dying at a couple parts, and Gangstas in Space is set up like an actual film reel rolling and has a movie director that had me lol-ing. Genki Bowl is typical Genki craziness which are always entertaining. Each DLC pack (except Genki Bowl which is like 6 Genki activities) is 3 separate missions, and I think they are a bit overpriced (but all DLC is anyways). I think a price tag of $3.99 would've been better but oh well. I got the season pass which saves you like a buck
