I've just started reading the manga and I used to see the anime when I was younger. I think One Piece is the real Dragon Ball's successor and it deserves the fame it has. What about you? What do you think?

Real shame that no one has replied to this, I absolutely agree, nothing really matches one pieces consistent quality in terms of shonen manga, or homeland popularity. Truly is DBZ's successor. (you can tell with the crossovers and block programming)

The three new big Shonen Jump title: One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach tend to be called the new DBZ. Most say Naruto but i think the true oe is One Piece too, in Japan it sells more than One Piece or Naruto combined and has achieved a bigger popularity than Dragon Ball.

Yeah, and I think One Piece is better than Naruto and Bleach, and not just because of the sales. And, hell, everybody says OP copies DB! Well, am I the only one who doesn't see the similarity? At least, not as much as people say.

Lol, Naruto and Bleach copy Dragon Ball much more, Bleach is like Dragon Ball Z with swords, while situations in Naruto copy DB a little and the Sage Mode and Bijuu mode seem to be little inspired by DB transformations, the Uchihas even seem like that universe's Saians.
