My favorite Mania moment is a tie between that and when Hogan bodyslammed Andre the Giant, my all time favorite wrestler.

Its a three way race between Hogan slamming Andre at WM 3, Bret putting Austin in the sharpshooter at WM13, and Michaels superkicking Flair and "ending" his career at WM24. There are so many though: Edge spearing Foley through the flaming table! Undertaker retiring HBK. Michaels winning his first world title. Benoit and Eddie hugging at WM 20. Savage beatin Flair at WM8. |

The funny thing is that both of my favorite WrestleMania moments were both with Hogan.
Rock/Hogan and Hogan/Warrior. Here's another question to get us hyped for WrestleMania 28...when and against who do you think Rock and Cena had their biggest match in their wrestling careers, so far?

Hogan/ Macho from wm V is up there as well.
I think there's way too many ppv's now and that even takes epic matches away from mania. Think of the matches we SHOULD of saw at mania. There was a ton just thrown on regular ppv's.

Stone Cold winning the title at WM14, simply because he was the 1st ever heel to break my blind support of faces.

Rock would be his match against Hogan at WM X8. Cena woukd be WM23 against HBL or, despite not being at Mania, would be his match against CM Punk at Money in the Bank. I tend to lean more towards the latter.

I agree with the bold. I'm not going to be a Nazi and demand it being a WM match because the Cena/Punk match was just extraordinary. I wonder if those two would ever meet at a future WrestleMania. Do you think Cena/Rock will trump Cena/Punk after WM 28?

If Cena vs Punk was phenomonal at a gimmick PPV people otherwise didn't care about, imagine what the bout would be like at Wrestlemania for the WWE title? It has the potential to be one of the greatest Wrestlemania matches of all time. Their MITB match is already one of the all time greats IMHO.

I have mixed feelings about Rock vs Cena. As much as I think Cena winning is the best decision overall, I also think Cena is probably going fall back into the same old annoying habits after WrestleMania, so it will just be the same lame ass Cena character we saw in between this past summer and WrestleMania time only with a win over The Rock.

Tomorrow night me&some online gaming buddies are going to do some special matches dedicated to WM on WWE'12,Since we won't do single matches it'll just be WM matches at the WM arena But with obviously different people!
Legends/Icons vs New Icons-I'm going to use Savage or my created Hogan HIAC-I'm using Foley/Original masked Kane or my created Kane(new mask) Big Team match-Elimination tag, everyone using original caws Best in the World-Everyone using there best original caws New match like"Big Men Match"-I'll likely be using my Andre The Giant caw/my WCW Giant(big show)caw or Brodus Clay |

Considering how little wrestling I've watched compared to most of the other folks in here, my favorite Wrestlemania moment would probably be a little more recent.
Honestly, one of the first moments that stands out to me of Wrestlemanias that I've watched is Undertaker finally putting Shawn Michaels out for good.

The Rock v. John Cena I'm gonna go on a limb and say "The Rock". I'm hoping WWE has a little bit of sense and doesn't have Cena win the match, although I think that deep in my heart I know that Cena is winning. Triple H v. The Undertaker Undertaker. I don't know in what fashion, but if the Streak ends, I'll be very disappointed. CM Punk v. Chris Jericho I'm gonna be cheering for Jericho, but I think that Punk gets the win here. He's had a great year, finally proving that he is capable of being a top guy. Sheamus v. Daniel Bryan I think, and I hope, that Sheamus wins here. The sooner Bryan gets out of the main event, the happier I will be. Randy Orton v. Kane I don't see the point of this feud, and I don't see any reason for Kane to win. Orton wins here. Cody Rhodes v. The Big Show I'm going for Rhodes here. I don't want to see Big Show with a belt, and Rhodes is getting himself over this past year. Team Long v. Team Laurinitis I'm picking and hoping for Team Laurinitis. He and Otunga are awesome as an on screen power duo, and Teddy Long is pretty annoying at this point. Plus, Team Lautinitis has Miz.

My favorite Wrestlemania moment was during Shawn Michaels' and Kurt Angle's match where they do the moonsault onto the table spot. That was just picture perfect right there.

I think Cena, Taker and Punk victories are almost set in stone, punk being the only doubtful one for me, but I just cant see them giving Jericho the title unless its for a final 'thanks for everything Chris' run - other than that I think it is likely that Sheamus, Orton and Rhodes will pick up wins, no reason for Orton to lose although I suppose it could be argued theres no reason for him to win either, Rhodes has been on a roll so keep him with that sexy white IC and Sheamus because I still get the feeling they arent behind D-Bry and he willl be relegated to the mid card soon... Long Laurinitis I don't care about just want a fun match.... shame there is no US match scheduled I would like to see Ryder win it back edit: shame theres no tag title match but theyve done nothing with the tag division - shame since they had the hart foundation and also the usos which could have been good

Cena vs Batista I was a match that SHOULD have happened for the first time at Wrestlemania. They were the two faces of WWE for half a decade. That match could have been built to a huge deal because they'd been kept apart for a while. Quote:
The biggest match of Cenas career was probably Cena vs Triple H at WM 22 because it meant so much. Unlike JBL HHH was a much bigger star and basically one of the top stars of the previous era. Triple H was the establishment against Cenas rather unorthadox style and character. Its one of the few times people weren't sure Cena would win. Beating HHH was the equivalent of WWE saying "Cenas here to stay, he's the guy." Its one of the things that stamped him the face of the company for sure. Second would be Cena vs Michaels at WM23. It wa s a little more obvious that Cena would win but this time he had the pressure of going toe to toe with the greatest in ring performer in WWE history. It was a proving ground for Cenas talent as a sports entertainer and if he really had it or not. He rose to the challenge. Quote:
Punk has the potential to stand side by side with Cena at the top or dare I say even surpass him. One day down the road a Cena vs Punk match at Wrestlemania could be a HUGE deal. He's a better pick for a Road wife than this guy: ![]() Bruti was probably willing to fulfill ALL the wifely duties too. |
