One of the most underrated actors ever!

I've been a fan of this man since i saw "Dead Heat" in theaters as a kid and enjoyed "Hair" and "1941" to even being surprised as him as the voice of Professor Achilles Milo on Batman The Animated Series.

He is a great actor.

But I still haven't forgotten his horrible, HORRIBLE performance as the bad guy in The Phantom.

He actually managed to out-bad-act Billy Zane. That's hard to do.

Oh yes he was bad in The Phantom but yes in Deep Rising he was awesome.

What did everyone think of him as Professor Milo on Batman TAS? remember that character?

Yes he did an uncredited came on Empire Strikes Back.

I read an article last year that he was supposed to have played Matthew Modine's part in The Dark Knight Rises. May have been a rumour....

I was really sad when I heard he turned down a part in The Dark Knight Rises. I honestly will enjoy the movie a little less knowing he would have been in it.

Btw, I saw his part in Law & Order SVU and he was simply fantastic. Kudos to him of course, but I don't know why everybody's so great in that show. I mean, Jerry Lewis was fantastic and Robin Williams did his best psychopath role in that show, better than in One Hour Photo and Insomnia.

But yes, Treat was great.

Man! I forgot about that. He was really good in that episode. At first I thought he was a creep, but then you find out he has brain damage and really sympathize with him. He really pulled it off. Great, great performance. For those interested, the episode is called Spiraling Down (S13Ep10).

First film I remember him from was Dead Heat and he was fantastic in that one! Still one of my favourite movies because of him

(and because of that awesome zombie-look he had when he chased the villains on the police-bike)

The first thing I ever saw him in was this TV movie where he played this batsh** crazy abusive husband. If I remember right, his character also had ties to organized crime and it was based on a true story. Williams was brilliant in the role. I don't remember what it was called, but Brian Denehey was also in it as the cop that takes him down.

haha, one of the all time predictable typecast actors, as of course he played the exact same role when Rambo took care of his snobby, stuck up, power mad, unimaginative, ignorant ass.

I've never seen that from him. I've only seen him being a selfish, jealous, devious type who goes out of his way to try and make people unhappy because he wanted what they have. Y'know, like a guy who gets kb'd by a woman, and when she says she likes a guy who he hates, does everything in his power to try and break them up. Pure sexual jealousy, and if he tries to justify that by saying he is being a hero, and is trying to 'save' the woman from that man, he is an even bigger phoney than I could have possibly imagined.

You need to watch some of his older stuff. He does seem to be predominately the bad guy for the last decade or so....but years ago he was the goodguy. Off the top of my head....he did a series of TV movies playing the tough but good cop Jack Reed, he was the good alien leader in COCOON, and was sgt. everyone looked up to in the miniseries A RUMOR OF WAR.

And as to Treat...he's always been fun to watch...from playing D.B Cooper to Xander Drax in THE PHANTOM.

Aye, I seem to recall him playing a good guy in SFX/Murder by illusion, the classic straight to video movie that folk always went on about, like, 'It's really good for a s-t-v', it was one of those first types of movies I recall, like 'Trancers', where everyone went on about how good it was for a s-t-v.

I always wondered why he didn't go on to bigger things or maybe it's just he got lost among the crowd of handsome actors that casting agents didn't care for.

Oh yeah and Dead Heat is awesome because of his chemistry with Joe Piscopo.
