SM3's Venom was an abomination. Topher Grace? Venom is supposed to be bigger than Spider-Man,not smaller.

With how TDK and TDKR is coming out to be, I really hope Webb doesn't use Green Goblin for the sequel and Venom for the threequel. There would be just too many comparisons.

I hope you mean just a film with Joker as the only villain because a film just about Joker with no Batman would be awful as much as a solo Venom film would be.

The Ultimate Venom didn't talk that much and/or brag,and show his face all that often. It was horrible indeed.

Yeah, that's probably the one remaining Spidey villain that hasn't been done yet that I would like to see the most.

I'd like to see Mac Gargan's Scorpion with a similar introduction into the series as it was in the comics..

I think he has potential to be an adversary close to SM2's doc ock.. an enemy that can match most if not all of what spider-man can do and give a real sense of spider-man being in danger.

I would like doctor octopus, although im worried about who can play him better than alfred molina.

But I have concepts about which version of each villain should appear.

For doc ock: I loved spider man 2's version. Revisit the trenchcoat! Not the overweight guy in a green and yellow spandex suit!

For The green goblin..... never the power rangers costume! Go for the classic green and purple (or the TSSM version. that was good i guess) Although for the glider.... I thought the movie glider was good.

For venom, I was satisfied with spider man 3, but as long as he got more face time.

For sandman..... not much to say there. sandy guy in green striped shirt

For The new goblin.... don't let him change from green goblin.

For Mysterio: Perfect


For shocker:

Carnage:


Electro I liked the Spectacular version. It is more realistic.

I kinda don't want Doc Ock in this trilogy. If it goes beyond 3 movies sure. Hell I don't even want Venom in this trilogy and he's my favorite villain. I want guys like Electro and Mysterio to get a chance.

Speaking of future TASM villains, in a couple of minutes I'll post my fan stories for the second and third tasm movies, using electro and mysterio.

With Electro, he's in the second movie joined with a super powered version of the Enforcers working under Tombstone, but created by Osborn and OsCorp. The team includes Electro, Vulture (not old version), and Rhino (who serves as kind of an Ox type guy.) The third movie has the Goblin as the main villain anf Mysterio as a secondary villain. This Mysterio is kind of like Scarecrow from Batman. Im writing six films, even though there will probably on be 3 or possibly 4. The 4th film has Venom, the 5th has Kraven and the Chameleon, and the sixth has the Sinister Six, including Doc Ock, Electro, Rhino, Vulture, Kraven, and Shocker.

If Ock was to be used in this series there are a couple of actors I think would be absolutely brilliant in the role. Particularily for the tone that Webb wants to set.

The first is Pruitt Taylor Vince. Everytime I see this guy I just imagine him as Ock. I've heard people mention him for Kingpin in the past, but that's just lazy internet casting based on the mans heft. He's a fantastic actor and would bring great depth and subtlety to the role. He can also be quite menacing with some of the looks he gives. He has that creepy neurotic vibe to him that would be great to see on screen.

My second choice is out of left field and would no doubt be shot down by many fans. But If you are open-minded you may be able to see it. That actor is Jeffrey Wright. I saw Source Code recently and within a few minutes of screen time I saw him as Octavius (for similar qualities observed in Pruitt). His race would probably keep him from even being considered, but this is a choice that could potentially be lightning in a bottle.

I would really like to see Scorpion. Spider-Man has such a deep rogues gallery, I don't think there has to be any retreads as far as villians.

Though if they did do Green Goblin again, I am all about John Hamm as Norman Osborn.
