Eh, you won't ruin anything by watching it. It's essentially the second trailer recut with like, 8 seconds in total of new footage. And from that 8 seconds, most are extended versions of shots we've already seen.

This isn't the third trailer. But it is the trailer RIM was talking about. It's essentially trailer 2.5. Not trailer 3. Expect 90% new stuff in trailer 3.

This is a trailer which I'm guessing they've made so they'd have something to attach to The Avengers without it having to be trailer 3.

Technically this isn't the trailer RIM was talking about either. He said he saw the American/International version which had some more footage of action which he seemed to really like (said it was better than SM2 trailer). I was underwhelmed by this Japanese trailer.

I don't give a flying hoot wether this is trailer "2.5" or a trailer "3"! It is BY_FAR the absolute BEST and most intense trailer released, thus far! Waaay better then the domestic theatrical trailer! It showcases a much more epic spiderman movie, with a much broader scope!

It also delivers a very clear message! And that message is:
Get it through your thick skulls, people! This is a whole different ball-game! NOT a freaken lamo "remake" of the first film!

So nice to see all the drama and emotions blend in with the awesome action! VERY nice to hear dialog from both uncle Ben & Aunt May this time around! Notice that we've seen nothing from the high-school fight sequence (other then a brief clip in this trailer, where Spidey goes through a wall). I think they're holding back, and that's just nice! There will be plenty to behold ones this movie is released in cinemas worldwide. Spidey swinging, looks 110% real! It really has gravity.

Well, Technically, I think you're fooling your self. You're just saying this, because you were, as you said, "Underwhelmed by this Japanese trailer". I think you better prepare for the fact that this is indeed the international trailer RIM was talking about. Japanese subtitles just doesn't change that fact. And it's 99% for sure that they wouldn't release this one, and then ANOTHER with just a few seconds of new footage, all at ones. Just not gonna happen. It's too weird and pointless. So suck it up.

This trailer is the best yet.

Technically you're not me, so don't act like you know how I feel. Maybe you should reread the general discussion thread. I specifically asked RIM if this was the trailer he saw and he actually told me he saw a different the american version of the trailer. And this trailer wasn't even close to being the best. You're saying this is the best trailer yet aside from a few new scenes of dialogue, there is either a lack of or merely the same action shots. And "suck it up?" Was I complaining about anything? Oh yeah, and thanks for the stating the obvious about everything in the trailer.

That's actually the ONLY THING that I thought was a little tiny bit corny. NOT the dialog, but the way it was spoken! I don't think it's someone from within the film saying that. It sounds a lot like some random dude they just picked to speak those two lines, cause they thought it would be cool... it's not even the real trailer-voice we all know and love. It just sounds like some mediocre trailer-voice dude... other then that. Freaken epic!

One of my favorite lines from the trailer is when aunt may says "where do you go, who does this to you?" or something along those lines. I cant wait to see the full cop fight scene.

I hear that kind of stuff from people in my school all the time unfortunately. People there say "Spider-Man sucks", "Spider-Man's a wuss", "Spider-Man gets beat up all the time", "Spider-Man's gay". You'd be surprised, one time there was a discussion in English class about romantic heroes and it was pretty much "Batman is so cool", "Batman is the best, everyone else sucks".

Yeah I go to cracked.com and the writers there rip on him a lot. One guy said, "unfortunately he didn't get testicles when he was bitten by a radioactive spider" or something like that. I find it weird that some people think batman is a really tough badass and spidey is a wuss and a crybaby because, sorry I just gotta say this, peters life is way worse than batmans.
