I'd say late June early July anything earlier than that is way too soon. It would get "lost in the shuffle." We don't even have Batman posters yet really and I think that comes out first. Might be mistaken, just that they're couple weeks apart.

But even the preview for the next poster is dissapointing. I keep hoping for things like this?

Still. We won't really see marketing kick in until late June / early July. Anything this early? Is just to raise awareness but not to sell the movie itself. We're months away - 4 to be exact to put it into perspective. Once we get closer there will be a lot more posters, banners, etc. Right now 'Avengers' has theaters covered. Then it'll be the next big blockbuster. Then the next. Then Batman and Spider-Man, with (if Batman comes out earlier) more Batman in the beginning.

Plus a movie is marketed differently depending on it's region. That's a Japan poster. What the states posters will truly look like - we'll see as we get closer. I'm guessing various action Spidey posters because that, for three movies, seems to be the norm.

This is true, tbh honest I forgot about the black and white poster with the shadow spidey symbol on it. Hopefully thyre more along the lines of that at least. All of these others are painfully fake-looking

Really disappointed.
I agree! I love the new scenes but so far, these two latest trailers haven't been even close to as good edited as the second official trailer was.

Looks better with no sound though.

The voice that really caught me is: "You spent your whole life wondering where you parents went, but in order to find the answers you must look within." The line was great, but any idea who said it or is that just the trailer voice?

I don't know, it sounded a little off to me! It's definitely a character in the film though, otherwise it would have been said in Japanese, right?

But the line sounded a little off. Like somebody else said, it sounded like something from a poor kung fu parody.

I wonder who that is though

Don't worry, you'll get a lot of that in the American version of the trailer + trailer #3.

It depends, but usually there is a big difference between each version.

The bad thing about these latest two trailers is that it would be much better if you ended it with that scene of Spidey crawling in the sewers and the tail behind hind. It just feels weird when it goes on after that.

EDIT: Also, while there are some new scenes, it still feels pretty much like the second trailer all over again.

The new international trailer had some epic shots. More and more exciting.

Also, really CBR? Really?

RIM, do you think the 3rd trailer will do a good job of reeling in an audience for the film?

Yeah, the trailer was poor. The pacing just lingers. There is no real climax to it at all.

Hopefully RIM's right about trailer 3.

Yes it is, but you can also say it's an American version as well, since it had all the titles in English (similar to the new Japanese one, but with more moments & stuff) that should be released soon and there will be a 3rd trailer, that will be much more revealing & will have a bigger scope.
