[SPOILERS/SPECULATION] The Mysterious (Post-Credits?) Scene filmed after Premiere...

I thought it would be logical to create a separate thread for this. The other thread kinda focuses more on what has been revealed as the mid-credits scene,

which, as we now know, reveals Thanos.

So, what do we have on it? RDJ slipped out at the post-premiere press conference that there was one more scene to be filmed. Feige and Whedon tried to lay the rumours to rest, BUT, Ruffalo confirmed it as well!

idk. I still am doubting it kind of. And Gosh, I hope its not that coulson is vision. If they change that up, it takes something away from Ultron. Which would maybe mean Ultron isn't used. :/

There is no way that the rumor floating around you mentioned is what they filmed. I just do not believe they would do that. It actually makes me laugh every time I read it because it sounds so ridiculous.

I've heard we don't hear "AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!" in the film at all. I'm guessing it'll have to do with that line being said by Cap. Just a little extra something. The Thanos tag is the classic 'to be continued' - so I think the other tag will just be an awesome nod to the fans.

Maybe they build Ultron on Coulson, but can't get it all working properly, and then when Ultron is introduced it works out how to activate and use Vision, who then turns on Ultron. But if Ultron isn't involved in some capacity, I don't want Coulson to be Vision.

Vision doesn't have to exist in MCU, however think about how much of a layered experience it would take to get to Vision, it might just be easier to do it this way

like first you need to introduce Ant-Man and while I'm not overly well-versed in Ant-Man but I would assume Ultron would not be the first movie in an Ant-Man movie....so you'd have to introduce AM in his own movie, then introudce Ultron and that maybe, just maybe would lead to vision 3 movies in....which there is no garauntee AM would get to be in 3 movies (I am one of those who absolutely questions how well-recieved he would be with casual movie fans)

I'm not particualrly a fan of PC becoming Vision, I think it could work with Coulson, but I'd much rather just see them resserect him with android parts and keep him largely still Phill (semi aloof agent)

what I think would be really cool is if MCU created their own super hero with Coulson Agent of SHIELD and he is a synthetically enhanced human so he kinda is like a light super soilder himself (making him even more formiddable)

And Coulson was the person he said that to. I was talking with my brother about the supposed new scene and we both agreed that dead!Coulson turning out to be an LMD would be a great idea. In fact, that's what I will pretend happened from now on. It's my own personal alternate universe.

I halfway suspect that this rumor is an elaborate prank orchestrated by RDJ and the rest of the cast. Downey started it and got Ruffalo and Hemsworth to help him keep it going.

It would be a great one but I wouldn't put it past Marvel to add something at the last minute.

According to Comic Book Movie someone ran into Chris Hemsworth after the premiere in full battle makeup with dust and ash on him. So maybe it take place during the battle?
