I started reading Batman as a kid right before Knightfall and Jean Paul was my favorite character for a very long time. I loved his modified Batman costume and remember getting mad when Bruce came back and defeated him to the point of not following Batman anymore until Contagion came out.

Edit: My point is, stop talking crap about Jean Paul Valley. DC ditched one of it's most important characters for no reason, we could at least be respectful to his memory.

No offense to you at all, by any means but...

Its posts like these that remind me why we have such a vast amount of people throwing Robin, Nightwing & Azrael's names around as potential characters for JGL's part.

It's not so much because it would fit into the story lines or would make any logical sense or reason other than some intimate connection some may have with certain characters based from the comic book sources.

Again, nothing wrong with any of that. We all have a bias I guess. I have my own bias as I prefer that Batman always work alone and be a loner. That's just my personal preference on how I like the Batman to be portrayed.

When Joker was a boy and saw his family killed, he was traumatised and about to scar his face, and the cop who saved him said "you can either cut your smile with that knife, and go on to be crazy, or come with me and I wil adopt you".
