I was over it like a year and a half ago. It should have been contained to one arc. I dont get Gishler's obsession with it

The Deadpool/Domino interaction in 26 was pretty solid. Wade was written pretty well for the first time in awhile.

That's not the only X-Men book Brian Wood is taking over, as he's also the new writer of the adjectiveless X-Men series as of June's issue #30.

is it wrong of me to hope that this book is a casualty of the inevitable book shakeups post-AvX?

Nope, because I wouldn't mind either. I dropped it a while ago. There's no need for it now that the school has re-opened.

Unlike most, I didn't mind Gischler's run. Yost's arc has been the highlight of this title but I've enjoyed the rest of it just fine. These past two issues by Wood is the worst it's been in my opinion. Utterly boring.
But yeah, I hope the title is canned after AvX.

Yeah I'm just waiting for this book to get canceled. I dropped it after the Lizard arc with Spidey. I gave these two issues by Wood a chance but I wasn't impressed. He had some good stuff going with Storm, but Psylocke is handled much better in X-Force and Colossus is more interesting in Uncanny that I have no reason to care about this roster. Wood has rekindled my interest in Ultimate X-Men though.
