I agree with Marvel Superhero Squad, that's a GREAT superhero show for little kids, and perhaps the only one out now. The DC animation block plans to have some others, including something called SuperBFFs with Wondergirl, Batgirl and Supergirl. As well as Thunder and Lightning, very much little kid shows with female superhero characters.

But if you're eager to get it going, getting some of the older shows seems like the best bet, they're cheap used at MovieZone/Stop/BarganHut/Whatever and a four year old won't likely be able to discern the animation quality not having aged well.
