Not really, the media's been pretty constant in their assertion that the Jihadists don't represent Islam at all. The constant accusations of Islamophobia are unfounded and simply a way to deflect guilt onto the Western democracies.

And if that is who he means, he obviously doesn't grasp the idea of imperialism. Cameron has authoritarian tendancies, he cares little for the working classes and whores out his office to the highest bidder. But the only remotely aggressive thing he's done was aid NATO in the Libyan Revolution, that's it. And no British ground forces were sent in, we didn't set up any military bases or anything of that nature.

Perhaps he means the nonsense about the Falklands? Well, if you look into it, you'll find that the people on the islands want to remain British. And our presence there has been a bulwark against Argentinian imperialism since they callously invaded the Falklands in the 1980's.

So, is he a budding fascist? A lot of signs point to it. Is he an imperialist? Not at all.

I disagree. There are plenty of pundits, especially on the right, who demand that ordinary Muslims must renounce Islamic terrorism - as if they bear any responsibility for it. Then there's the fact that whenever an act of terrorism occurs, the automatic assumption is that it must been perpetrated by a Muslim, which is exactly what happened when the media first reported Breivik's massacre in Norway.
