Porn is definitely taking it too far, but I do feel the rules here are way too strict and I think there does need to be some kind of "I'm not a child and would like to post a funny picture or YouTube video that has cursing in it without getting a slap on the wrist" section or option on the site.

Because as pointed out, there is really no way to verify one's age and beyond that, this is a superhero themed message board. It really doesn't need uncensored profanity, explicit talk of sex or pictures of nude celebrities floating around.
By the way, you mentioned revenue ShumacherFan, advertisers would probably be less inclined to associate themselves with a site that has a section devoted to pornography, sex talk, etc. Why do you think that you never see a banner for The Avengers on a porn site?  Anyway, you're not the first to ask. You probably won't be the last. But it will never happen. 'Nuff said.
