* John Starks goes 2 for 18 in the game 7 loss of the 1994 NBA Finals.
* Carlos Beltran strikes out looking to end game 7 of the 2006 NLCS. * The entirety of Super Bowl XXXV (2000) * Jan 5th, 2003 The 49ers make the second largest comeback in NFL playoff history against the Giants. Kerry Collins actually drives our offense all the way down to the San Fran 23 with 6 seconds left. Botched snap on th FG attempt and the game is over. There were actually offsetting penalties which should have prolonged the game by one play, but the refs announced the game was over. The NFL sent the Giants a letter of apology the next week. I agree, the 03 Giant/Niner game was pretty brutal.
But they've won 2 Super Bowls and beat SF in the NFC title game last year in San Fran so I'm over that one....

I'm an Islanders fan...so pretty much the last 20 years (though the future does look bright), and I still have an aversion to Mulberry trees
![]() Actually, anything involving Milbury gets me annoyed.

The St. Louis Cardinals getting swept by the Red Sox, braking Bambino's curse. That sucked.

As a Pittsburgh Pirates fan, I can't believe I forgot about this one.
Game 7 of the 1992 National League Championship Series. Nothing like watching your beloved team lose a game in the last inning with a former star player of yours scoring the winning run. That was the most soul-crushing game I can remember and the day I stopped watching baseball. I'm not kidding. Of course, it's not like it mattered, because the Pirates have followed that game up with 19 (and soon to be 20) losing seasons. F*** you, Sid Bream. F*** you and your ugly porn-stache, you piece of Benedict Arnold sh**.

![]() For real though, that was a damn good series. Shame the Jays dominated the Braves in the series that year.

2009 Stanley Cup Finals. Worst feeling by far.
2009 NCAA Title Game. ANY OTHER YEAR and MSU is beyond reasonable doubt the best team in the field. UNC was an NBA team out there. 2009's Game 163... Inge was hit. Couldn't believe that.

Not my team, but just as a basketball fan in general. The most disgusting thing I've ever seen in any team sport was watching Kobe Bryant f*** his team in the 2003-2004 NBA Finals.
After that I'd probably rank watching kris Draper get laid the f*** out by that right c**t Claude Lemieux... And a more personal one, which was more disappointment from losing than anything else... Paxson in the 92-93 Finals.

But... your Wings won the year before. Few teams are able to repeat the following year. It's just remarkable that both the Pens and the Wings made it to back-to-back finals. Has that ever happened before for any two teams?

2011 Arsenal playing against Birmingham in the FA Cup Finals. Losing that game......it's like you just knew the season was going down the drains, it was tangible.
2003 Lakers, I think it was Game 5 against the Spurs in the Western Conference semis. Coming off 3 titles, they had that aura of invincibility still, series was tied 2-2 and it was coming down the wire. I think we were down by 2, last second shot comes to Horry, he's wide open, seen him hit that shot a million times to win us games and it rims out. One of those weird moments where they didn't get beat till the next game but when Horry missed that shot everybody knew the dynasty was over.

Minnesota Viking's 2011.
2012 Wolves getting relegated to the Championship.. on a brighter note I'm happy we'll have a better chance of winning more than 6 games a season. |

I'd be more pissed about that series being fixed. That series pissed me off, and I'm not a fan of either team.

Sunday, December 19th, 2010: Giants vs. Eagles.
Worst game I've ever witnessed. That loss disgusted me.

Ravens losing the AFC title game this against the Patriots. Nuff said...
Also Ravens losing to the Colts in 2006, after getting one of the top 2 seeds that year. There was so much hype around town because the Colts coming back to Bmore for a playoff game and this was going to be B'more's revenge..then, nada. |
