Do we know what kind of projects Allred is doing? I'd love to see him on a superhero comic again.

No idea, he has a few things lined up after iZombie and hopefully announces them soon.

I need to read that old X-Statix book. It's been on my to-read list for a loooong time.

I love Nick Dragotta. He didn't really do anything for me initially, but about two issues into Vengeance I started really appreciating his work.

Awesome.

Allred needs to do a superhero comic regularly.

I'm excited for it. I haven't seen much of Allred's art in a while, and it'll be especially awesome for the tone Waid's given his run on Daredevil.

I've been enjoying Allred's art for the past 25 months in iZombie.

This latest issue really shows how much art can affect a book. I think I would've liked it a lot more if there were a good artist on it.

Ahhhhh, CRAP! I was just reading Dread's column over at the Examiner and saw the news from earlier in the week that Paolo Rivera is leaving DD and Marvel. He said he's still going to do covers from time to time but he's not going to be exclusive to them.

This is a pretty big loss. He's one of their top artists if you ask me.

So, this is basically another in the line of "The End" books much like Wolverine: The End and Punisher: The End.

So you're saying it's written like old school comics? I have to pick it up.

The End was supposed to come out when I was in high school. Now I'm 23, and any excitement I had for it is sufficiently dead. Way to **** that one up, Marvel.
