Connery brought a certain charm to the character, just about anything he did or said looked cool. Even something a simple as holding a cigarette, he made it look cool and very suave. Daniel Craig IMO is a more "balls to wall" Bond, he'll get down and dirty with little to no hesitation, TBH when I see his portrayals as Bond, in a sense they have a sort of retro feel to them.

After thinking about it, if they ran with the concept of using multiple Bonds, that should be a choice that's left up to the player. It would be cool at the start of the game to let you choose which Bond you want to use, each Bond should have different attributes that differentiates the multiple incarnations of the character.

Would be cool if they could get Craig, Brosnan and Dalton to do reprise their roles, the other three might be a bit more difficult.

I'm pretty sure with today's technology, they could get Connery and Roger Moore to reprise their roles as well, they may have to go through a few filters so that they don't come across too raspy since they're pretty up in age. If I remember correctly, Sean Connery reprise Bond in the From Russia With Love video game

Agreed. Bronson was my first real exposure to Bond, so I guess you could say him being my "first" bond is influencing my opinion, but I really loved him in Goldeneye. I think, had his other bond films been better, he could have been a truly memorable 007.

I know some people are not going to like this...but I really do think the Mass Effect gameplay and way of story telling would work great for a Bond game.

I can agree with that, instead of having different classes, they should have different incarnations of Bond that have their own perks.

It's odd that they mentioned we will see Bond's most iconic missions.
What do they mean by that? The most memorable action sequences? Because when I think of iconic Bond scenes I think of him, in a tux, sitting in a casino which wouldn't work well in a video game I would imagine. Are there any iconic scenes you would like to play in? Besides the tank in Goldeneye? |

The first of the 5 featured classic Bond films has been revealed. It's Moonraker! Here's hoping one of the other 4 will be Goldfinger!

Moonraker being the first announced film was quite unexpected.

nice! Moonraker is one of my favorite Bond films with Roger Moore. hopefully one of the missions is based of either Living Daylights or License To Kill. the Timothy Dalton films are terribly underrated.

Living Daylights was really great. Love that film.
License to Kill was good, but it wound up feeling like an episode of Miami Vice. Which, is kinda cool too. But, still. |

It's a shame that its a fps, I just lost a lot of my enthusiasm for this game. I hope it's good and stands out from other shooters enough for me to buy it, but I'm getting sick of fps games these days.

You know watching that trailer, aside from the astronaut outfits, it pretty much looks exactly like Reloaded. Down to the touch phone he uses. It looks like they're reusing the what they did in Goldeneye Reloaded. Jaws and Drax were multiplayer skins, weren't they?
Atleast they're putting those to good use. |

Looking nice. I don't really know the old films, though. I started watching after Goldneye, but it seems interesting.

Isn't that what Alpha Protocol was trying to be?

I adore the 1960's style spy outfits. Very Henchmany. I love it.

I wasn't expecting much and still I wasn't impressed of what I saw, you know I really wish the Bond games were less focused on the shooting aspect and more on being a spy, I don't want CoD: Bond.

For those hoping for previous Bond actors in the game - sorry, Daniel Craig is voicing Bond throughout.

Would Connery's Bond work in the modern world though?

Is this for Wii, or what? Those graphics were pretty weak for a Bond game. Hopefully it's just an alpha build, because those henchman didn't even react to getting shot, haha.
