I'm surprised there's no topic about this game yet. I searched around and couldn't find any.

It's a new online multiplayer brawl/fighting/beat 'em up/whatever game made by Platinum Games (Bayonetta, Vanquish).

There will be both a single player story mode and multiplayer matches where you...well...beat the crap out of everyone in arenas. It looks totally badass to me! It will release some time next year.

When first heard of this game, I looked it up on wiki, took one glance and saw "online beat em up" and dismissed it in .03 seconds. I'm not a fan of online only games. But I recently heard it does have a few offline modes, and a story mode. So, I'm pretty interested in it now.
