Word over on TheFwoosh (action figure site/forum for those who don't know) is that Mattel has stated that the TDKR Movie Masters won't be released until...

...MAY 28TH!

Which is just stupid, IMO. Are they opposed to making serious money early?

This is Mattel, of course...

yeah,it seems it's being reported all over that they're now streeting on May 28th....kinda seems more logical,i guess,considering we're 5 days away from the 1st and not ONE figure has leaked out early,or is on ebay...

other thing i'm hearing is that ALL 6 figures will come out at the same time....now,i don't necessarily mean all 6 figures in 1 case, but all 3 case assortments will ship out at the same time....

What the CRAP Mattel! I was pumped and ready for the 1st and now you delay them 27 days!? And all 6 at one time? Better start saving up...

also,we're apparently getting a SDCC exclusive this year...they haven't revealed it yet,but said they're still working on getting the deco right,and that the light up features and sound looks and sounds good in the package...

????????????????????????????

my first thought would be Batsignal,but since we're already getting one...

suppossedly the 28th was always the plan,doing one of those big launch day things,with not only Movie Masters,but the smaller figures,vehicles,role-play,etc. rolling out....

how the 1st leaked out seems to be a mystery...

well,whatever it is,it must be something they figure a lot of people will keep in the package,otherwise why care if the lights and sounds look good while it's in the package? which to me rules out any vehicles...

unless it's something everyone already has? like the Batpod,now with lights and sounds? and maybe an exclusive Catwoman with the goggles down figure on it?

This is a bummer that the figures won't hit until the 28th, but at least we have more time to save up for them, right!

I saw a UPC/shelf tag for them at my local Meijer store. So for those of us that are near a Meijer, have an associate look up the number(s) and they can tell you if any are on their way, or if any other stores have them.

well,the first wave is just out in Singapore, Bats,Bane, and Alfred...so considering tomorrow is the 1st, i'd say the 28th is more accurate for a stateside release.

To my understanding, the first wave is Batman, Alfred and Bane. The second wave is Catwoman (goggles up), John Blake and a mystery figure, who I think is either, young or old R'as, Talia, Robin or Batgirl. I threw Batgirl in there cause Gordons daughter's got to be in her teens and her father does get put in the hospital. Might be the spark little Barb needs lol

to me,the interesting thing is Mattel is making a point to label her as "Catwoman - Goggles up".

makes me wonder if we'll get a "Goggles Down" variant at some point?

I was reading somewhere, I think the Matty forums, and it said that Catwoman will have a chase figure, the other being goggles down, but I don't know what other changes.

You don't really need Batman since he's just comes with a base. You can make your own base.

I'm happy to see we're getting more than just the main characters. I'll be broke this summer from buying these plus multiple movie tickets in IMAX. So much for trying to save money.

I don't know how I'm gonna manage it, but I really want to get that Bat signal put together. At least it makes more sense than some of the accessories in the TDK Movie Masters figures.

wish the batman had a new sculpt, or did a head swap with the begins suit head
looks much better then the one on tdk suit one, the cowl itself is good, but the mouth part looks horrible compared to the begins one
