Sideshow is awesome like that. I just put the "down payment" on the 89 Batmobile. It is most certainly the most I've ever (and hopefully will ever) spend on a "toy."

I wish Sideshow had the Hot Toys red/blue Spiderman. That would be my next HT once I get this 89 Batman paid off. They have the black costume spiderman but I like the traditional one better. They need to get a new shipment of stock in. They don't have the HT Batman Begins or Iron Man mark IV either.

I came into a bit of extra money recently. So as a gift to myself, I just ordered a Hot Toys Batman and Joker 1989 versions.
So looking forward to getting these. They'll look great next to Supes. All I need now is a display cabinet for them all...

some apparently have had it,around where the belt hangs around the waist...there's speculation it either had to do with the plastic of the belt and rubber of the suit not being compatible,or possibly that the piece of tape used to hold in the magnet in the belt was causing the rubber to leak...
i removed the tape, and superglued the magnet in place...and,like i said, mine is still fine... |

Ordered my Joker from Loontentoys, he's already dispatched it. But I guess it will take a couple of weeks to get to me from China. By then I will have Keaton.
Looking forward to reenacting some Batman `89 movie moments with those two!

I almost bought the one above but I just can't get myself to spend $220 for a "toy".

these things are always an investment,though...some of the earlier stuff goes for over $1,000 on ebay,as compared to the couple hundred paid for them...
only thing to worry about is when they reissue something - for instance, all the Iron Man figures. once they announced new versions of Mark I, Mark II, Mark III, AND Mark IV, the prices on the originals deflated because the demand dried up... |

How many variations of the Keaton and Nicholson could they have though?

I doubt they'll do another Batman since they're making a Returns one, but I'd love to see another Joker in his black/white outfit.
