Okay i've only vaguely been keeping up with tasm updates etc. but from what i hear is it correct that uncle ben does not actually die in this movie and that peter parker still becomes spider-man before then?

Would that not be like bruce wayne becoming batman with his parent still living?

Uncle Ben DOES die in this film, and Peter is Spider-Man is costume only prior to his death. He abuses his powers and fights a few criminals for the kicks instead of actually helping people.

Oh okay, i got the impression he didn't maybe because the trailers downplay it.

Yeah it would take away spider-man's greatest motivation not including that. I'm assuming though they are not including a wrestling pp? So i wonder how they're gonna work that in.

As I said, they'll be showing him beating up a few bad guys, but not out of a sense of justice or responsibility. He's totally on a revenge "let out my aggression and have some fun" kick. Then when uncle Ben dies, he realizes he needs to grow up.

This SENSATIONAL CLIP is before Uncle Ben dies he has fun then learns his lesson. Same formula to Wrestling, but its a new take and more plausible ( No kid with superpowers goes wrestling these days, I would have fun and beat up thugs for kids)

I agree with this approach. A small deviation from the comics, but still fits the same purpose.

Speaking of how rough and tough he seems to be going in the film, I hope the symbiote in TASM3 makes Peter full badass and rough, not hair-flicking and dancing...

eg. Like this:

Peter is walking down the streets in the suit, camouflaged as a hoodie and jeans.
Cops stop him down an alley way because he looks thug-ish, he attacks back and grabs the cop by the shirt collar.
" Get the *FECK* outta my way"
He leaves them and walks off with no regrets showing his full face.

To me that shows how its taking over him, he doesn't care.

I'm sorry but that doesn't sound that good to me.

I don't want Venom in this trilogy simply because we'd have that symbiote consuming Peter stuff again. Even if it would be done better than in SM3, it just takes too much space if you ask me.

So we have official confirmation that we have a 3rd trailer come Thursday? Nice. I mean I think everyone knew Marvel were going to put it with the Avengers, it's nice to have official confirmation though.

Shame it wasn't attached to the UK version, I wonder what it will be attached with in the UK? Beauty and the Beast 3D maybe?

this post made me lol hehe yeah we don't BUT it will be attached to the Avengers come Thursday in 3D when America get it. So I was just wondering if it would be attached to something in the UK as well as Avengers is already out, and Beauty and the Beast is Disney soooo.....
