Official RDMAUL Vest Interest Thread

This is the vest maker, David.
I have been contacted by LHulk and Matt. Where is everyone else at?

PM me your chest, waist and circumference about your belly button measurement. I would also need a picture of you from the waist up(can blur your face) to make sure I scale the vest properly.

Lead is 3-4 weeks because this is a hand made, custom fitted, complex vest. With my .mil customers I always give them more adjustment than they need so feel free to cut the excess straps once you put on your vest on and pull the waist band tight.

I may be interested in a vest, but the 600 is a little steep for me. Anyway you could make a "not-so-accurate" version with cheaper materials?

Sorry man, this is for 99% accurate vest. It would actually be more work for us to find material close enough but not as expensive at this point. $600 is a fair price for the quality and screen accurate nature of the prop you are getting

Is this a one shot deal with these vests...like if you don't get on the list now then you won't be able to get one???

I am not even sure he's going to make more guys, David is the only one who can answer that question. I would not be surprised if he was only to make the interest list since these vests are very labor intensive.

I actually talked to him today, he is finishing the 2 he's working on making one more for a board guy and another for eBay. So your chance will be the eBay one....sorry guys

Did he give you any idea when he would post the vest to eBay ?? Also....I'm surprised he would turn down people who were willing to pay good money for high quality replica stuff....I'm not in a hurry to get the vest...wouldn't need it till the fall anyway.

No timeframe yet but I suspect it closer to the movie opening or after. He is turning it down for 2 reasons one these vest take forever to create and are honestly taking up a lot of his time and 2 these were a limited run anyways. This will come off sounding jerkish but I was the one who instigated him making more. He originally was going to make mine and be done so the fact he made more is pretty cool in my mind. I could of been the dick that said only make one for me BUT I didnt do that!

I appreciate the interest but my (real job) company has lost a number of our staff recently and I am working my ass off to pick up the slack. Between that and my family I just don't have the time to make a lot of these, they are very labor intensive and sizing it to each individual is a pain.

I will put one or two up on Ebay around memorial day and that will be it. Happy bidding and may the odds be ever in your favor.

Thanks for the headsup ...definitely gonna bid in them....how will the sizing work for them being they aren't tailored to anyone in particular??
