I'm not all that excited for TDKR either. It still looks interesting, just not pants-wettingly exciting. Hathaway still seems like an awkward Catwoman and, although I'm happy Bane's finally getting the mastermind treatment he deserves, what little I've seen of Hardy's portrayal doesn't strike me as all that familiar to the Bane I know and love. But I'm not writing it off or anything; Nolan and Ledger's version of the Joker wasn't quite in line with the comics' version either, but it was pretty great in its own right. I'm more intrigued by the seeming implication that Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character might take over for Batman by the end of this movie.

Although the flying Batmobile is pretty damn sweet.

I just hope that after this we can get a less depressing adaption.

I want Eric Bana as The Batman directed by Alfonso Cuaron. Bring on the bat family. You see how important they are with the way they inject a sense of fun into the whole thing. That's all you need to ground Batman. No more verisimilitude please.

Give us a Penguin who runs the iceberg lounge. Go with pre-established Batman and pre-established rogues. No more intro points. This trailer was just way too morose for my taste. I get that Batman movies are thematic and **** but they're still Batman movies. Nolan's other 2 movies had some fun elements to them and the trailers showcased that at times too. In this trailer even Catwoman's quips feel ineffective because everything else is just so damn dreary.

I hope the actual movie has a sense of fun because if it's as foreboding as that trailer than oh boy this could be the most depressing Batman movie to date.

Well, this one had a flying Batmobile. What's not fun about that?

It wasn't fun to me because for better or worse it seems pretty out of place in this universe. Instead of "holy ****" I went "uh ok". Seemed kinda forced when you consider the other movies. At least there was some natural element to the batpod in comparison as it's a more feasible vehicle. That's not cool man it's a ****ing flying batmobile we're talking about. Also stylistically speaking it should look WAAAY more awesome I think that was another part of the problem.

Next time around they just need to hit the ground running with the spectactle. Have some balls, give us a giant penny in the batcave. Give us stylized vehicles. Balance out all the thematics with a more fun atmosphere as opposed to something that looks like the world outside our window. I do like the wintery feel of the cinematography though. Big improvement over the pee colored tint and Michael Mann/James Cameron blue steel filter cloning from the other 2.

new TDKR trailer is the best one yet

still not a fan of hathaway as catwoman but it looks like she's doing the best she can

I still think there's a hint of a south american accent in bane's voice

Sean Bean didn't die in Silent Hill. I LOVED the trailer. But I'm all for a less serious movie when they reboot the franchise. I'm all for penguin, Killer Croc, Clayface, etc.
