I watched Iron Man 2 after having seen Avengers the other night and my previous theory stands true.... It is a much better film after seeing Avengers. People who thought it was gimmicky and crowbarred in Avengers stuff may have to eat their words, Iron Man 2 actually flows perfectly into Avengers. I would say that is probably one of the best movies to watch just before Avengers. I would go Iron Man 1, The Incredible Hulk, Cap, Thor, Iron Man 2 and then the end scene from Cap.

I just finished up Iron man 2, and I agree. I love it and its on par with the rest of the group. Wolvieboy I think your right, IM2 will be recieved and accepted better on a whole once we all finally see/get avengers in the group In my opinion there isnt a weak film in the group but if i HAD to pick, it would be Incredible Hulk, mainly because of the lackluster CGI. Heading into Thor and Cap tomorrow (too busy thursday leading to midnight) Heres my pending timeline and watching order


Captain America - 2 minute Present Day Opening

Iron Man - Show full, Avengers Initiative Starts - Monday April 30th

Incredible Hulk - Show credits scene later* - Monday Night April 30th

Iron Man 2 - Do not show credits scene at all (appears in Thor movie) - Tuesday May 1st

Coulson Short - On the way to Thors Hammer (Cap Blu) - Wednesday

Thor Show full- - Wednesday May 2nd

Coulson Short - The Consultant (Thor Blu)

According to @thefilmcynic, there is in fact a 2nd bonus scene with the U.S. release.

He says:

Hey so I'll apparently be form messaging privately the details on the second bonus Avengers scene all night if anyone else is curious.

Apparently foreign release of Avengers didn't have 2nd bonus scene at all? I guess we are rewarded for getting it late. cc @scottEweinberg

I'll DM that scene info to anyone, although --semi spoiler -- you won't understand if you haven't seen the movie.

Now I wish I had videotaped that bonus scene with my phone and put it on YouTube. Just kidding.

It's the entire Avengers team post-battle quietly eating shwarma for about a minute, no dialogue. And if you're wondering, it's Bruce Banner there, not Hulk. For those that don't get it, it's a reference to a line Tony Stark says in the movie about how he knows of a shwarma place nearby.

If that's for real, that is the greatest post credits scene in history. Pure genius. Knowing everyone is frothing at the mouth for clues at Avengers 2, and it's just the team sitting around eating?

Exactly, plus as said before it's just pure Whedon. It's Hollywood, I'm sure they were able to do something with Evans. It matches with what we know and explains the confusion as to where the scene would be placed because it is just a really wacky idea. And don't think foreign audiences would get mad.

Just got back from an advanced screening and the 2nd after credits clip was indeed the one of all of them eating...no dialogue, its pretty funny and Ruffalo has a hard time keeping a straight face. I believe it was filmed with everything else though, because you clearly see Evans non-bearded face.
