The Eagles are pretty awful. They're generally given the credit and prestige of a super bowl-winning team by the media, their players and staff always act as if they're some elite dynasty, but ultimately they haven't accomplished anything.

The Phillies have just kinda turned into the NL Yankees. But it's not really annoying yet because they've only won 1 WS and not 34.

The Flyers..well, if you're a Peguins fan, I can see tht. But outside of that, they've pretty much been a thoroughly unassuming mid-level playoff team for the past decade.

Eagles and Phillies fans have the reputation of being the worst in Sports. Whether it's a deserved reputation or not, it carries over to their teams.

But if you have obnoxious fans, what better way to stick it to the fans is to root against their team?

I always heard it with Eagles and Phillies fan but also Flyers fans as well.

Also, I remember a story from either 2010 or 2011 where Flyers fans where arranging to meet at the arrival location of the Blackhawks' bus?

Teams should be judged on their organizational merits, players, staff, history, etc.

I totally get hatred of fans - and even rooting against the team because of it - but I couldn't say I ever hated a team because of its fans.

I dunno, I just view it more on an academic level than "grr, I don't like those guys!"

No, it's a certain mixture of pretentiousness, popularity, championships, and management that makes me foster a great deal of hatred for those three.

I don't like the Steelers at all currently...they're players, or coaches...but I don't have a problem with them as a franchise, and there's several Steelers fans who I'm friends with or like.

The same with the Celtics, and Red Sox etc. are all kinda in the same boat.

The only sports team I truly hate is the Yankees.

In the NBA I disslike the Lakers and Knicks. I'm not to fond of the Heat right now but that's only because of Lebron and the ridiculous spectle he made when he left Cleveland.

MLB
Yankees: No explanation needed, especially as a Mets fan
Phillies: Mets handed them the division 2 years in a row, then they choked against the Yankees in the World Series.
Marlins: I liked the 2003 team, but lately the team has had such punks. Loria is a thief, too.
Cardinals: 2006
White Sox: Who cares about them?

NBA
Lakers: The Yankees of the NBA. No one who goes to their games even cares about the game.
Knicks: Ownership doesn't deserve to win.
Heat: Who doesn't hate them?

NFL
Steelers: I'd like them if they had the guts to have cut Rapistburger.
Cowboys: "America's Team" my ass
Patriots: Belichick is an *******
Dolphins: I hate the other 2 Miami teams, might as well hate their football team, too

As a Florida Gator alum who is also a frequent road game traveler for college football games I hate Florida State and Georgia more than anybody.

A lot of other schools hate us, more so when we are doing well.

Not really. I hate the Knicks and don't care about the Nets, so there's no reason to carry over the NY-Philly rivalry to the NBA. I really dislike the NBA in general as well. However, I do enjoy watching the last 10 min (40 min real time) of a playoff game since it's often exciting. It's the only team game that's dominated by individuals so I'm more of a fan of players than teams.

NBA: F all of 'em.

NHL: Flyers, Canadiens.
