Need Help Finding Some Photos

bane, if the primary reason you are unwilling to release the larger resolution versions of these images in your collection is that you are concerned for the legal welfare of individuals who provided them, then why not just state such as your reason? Thought debatable, it's certainly a hell of a lot less snobbish and pretentious of a reason to be unwilling to share such things with your fellow fans than ANY/ALL of the other reasons you've offered.

Likewise, have to point out; by hosting that big photo of all the thumbnails as you did before this topic and before people like myself started giving you some flack for it, weren't you posing some degree of the same legal risk by announcing to the internet that you where in possession of such images that you're now concerned over people having at all because their possession of such poses some sort of legal risk to the original photo owners? IE, if no one else is supposed to have them but the original owners due to WB legalities... didn't YOU let that cat out of the bag first and foremost????

To the people who are sharing: I applaud you. I've got a good collection too, though I'm not sure if it's quite up to snuff to the rest of these. But I've decided I'll be zipping and uploading my own collections to share with everyone in light of this thread. I doubt you'll find much of anything special in them comparatively, but it's the right thing to do. If everyone shares what they've got... well, proliferation and all that.

I wish I could share but I don't have much. I recently began a Batman and Batman Returns collection. Once it really builds up I'll provide them in the appropriate forum, in case anyone's interested.

No reason this stuff shouldn't be out there for all to enjoy. No reason at all.

Personally, I've found that so long as you aren't making a single cent off such, corporations can be pretty relaxed with fans sharing such content. Not always, mind you. But more often than you think.

Stems from the late 1990s when a few corporations waged war on fan sites, and while they legally won and shut a lot of sites down back in the day, it gave them a huge black eye in the process. So there's sort of been an unspoken truce in a lot of cult fandom circles that as long as it's not too new and you're not making a nickel off of such, they'll let it be.

Like if I had some shots from TDKR that hadn't been released; they'd release the hounds. But stuff from TDK and Begins? They likely won't waste the resources financially or legally so long as it's just non-profit still image sharing.

In one of my other on-line worlds/roles I've even had official-type sources contact ME for help in identifying/finding specific images that THEY own but don't remember where they come from, lmao.

Proliferation is one of my mantras. If it's good ****, proliferate it.

Why are people swapping pics? They're no ones to own. The movies already out. It's ridiculous. People are just hoarding them because they're under the false impression it gives them some position of power

The majority of us who know this and realize how silly/lame it is to hoard such can continue to point this fact out to the minority who think otherwise until the proverbial cows come home. End of the day, it's as pointless as trying to convince a politician to do the right thing.

Some people are just incapable of seeing reason no matter how it's presented to them.

sorry for my late reply.. the reason for not making those pics available to public is simple.. I had to pay for those, and quite a lot might i add.. so unless u have some that i don't have there is no way that i would post them here for all of you to enjoy.. were those free then the whole thing would be different.. i hope u guys can understand...

just to add some info for u guys. about 10000 pics were officially taken during production of the movie.. guess how many they released???? about 500, maybe even less... about 400 of those were reference pics for toymakers, a small portion for advertising and the majority of the pics were movie stills... i am only after those toymaker pics..if anyone has more of them... i'd be more than happy to pay for them
