it's called polymorph. it's as strong as nylon. When you heat it up, it is easy to mold.

http://www.nerdkits.com/ They sell pretty useful Microcontrollers. You can program them to do a lot of different things, and the programming language( either C or Python) is really simple. You could learn how to do it just off of the tutorials they give. |

I know we were trying for the beginning of April, but I'll probably not be able to make it by then. I'll be shooting for April 15.

Yeah. That's a good point. I feel like the group has lost momentum.

I'm seeing it tonight. It sounds good. I'm going for iron man, but staying for black widow.
Does anyone remember Red X? He was a character in teen titans. Does anyone care to explain how the suit works? I need a second opinion. I promise this has a tie in to the web shooters. |

That's not the part I was talking about. More importantly, the source, xenothium or whatever it was called, was stored in a belt, and drawn through the palms in the costume. This is important, as I think it solves the issue of fluid.
There are two ways of making the fluid last longer than a trigger pull. 1.) increase the air to resin ratio 2.) increase the size of cartridges. Now the only successful and powerful foams, gels, and expansions have anywhere from a 5% expansion to a risky 2000% expansion rate. Now due to the fact that this is the real world, I wouldn't want to bank success on a 2000% expansion rate to hold weight. This is acting under the assumption that webbing would have a practical application like structural saving or lifeline in a loooonnnnngggg fall. With those two applications being the only way to make this thing commercially, we need a way to hold it that isn't cumbersome. Now the bracelet won't hold enough fluid, and the tank on the back will weigh too much and impede movement. That leaves the back pack which will still restrict the movement of a rock climber, or a belt, which can hold any number of fluid containers. When combined with a fluid line, a tube that connects the fluid to a shooter, it allows a person to keep a small stash of fluid. Now let's bring it together. The reason I bring up red X and even red hood as well, is because he is the embodiment of this idea. This character is a walking armory but still wears a skin tight outfit. Yet, there are parts of the costume that are exposed and very visible. Those parts are what have to hold the weapons. Of course there will still be limitations, but there is already a spidey that does this. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-9tTY17owkr...ider_super.jpg Make the cannisters bigger, connect the shooter to the belt, put the belt higher, and you have an idea of what I'm talking about. |

Has anyone seen the newest trailer (you probably have, but if you haven't, it's here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pWTZwLeCyc ) It seems when the web explodes in his face, it A) spreads in all directions, B) Emits a vapor, and C) Stays taut for a bit, then drapes down. Perhaps this is an effect of the shear thinning; I am going to ask my chemistry teacher tomorrow if he can help me with this shear thinning bit.

So Ik Red X wears a belt but are you saying that maybe the suit has some type of connection to this Xenothium? Like realistically how can this relate to our web fluid?
