Hi there, I have the coat and pants. I think I posted pics of the pants in the thread...can't remember if I did the coat or not. Both are unbelievable.

I found a look-a-like pair by Dr. Martens called "TRIUMPH" ($150.00):

What do you guys think? A good base to start for replica? The color is not so bad (you can always spraypaint). All you need to do is to add a strap on top.

Those look pretty close. Almost as if you took elements from both shoes you would get a pretty spot on look-a-like.

Doctor Who:
The Dr. Martens shoes might be slightly smaller when it comes to height than what Bane is using, but you can fix that by adding a strap on top. But seriously, I don't think nobody will notice the difference (maybe just the hardcore fans like Roids and RDMaul, hehe). You can get a pair of black military shoes and still look cool (assuming that you have the mask, pants and coat/vest of course).

Suggestion on how to make the topstraps:
Buy 2 cheap girl-leather belts (they are usually wide) and cut them so that they go around your leg/ankle.

Unless someone in here knows a place where they can buy straps??

Here are some shots from free comic book day yesterday guys! As for those boots that you guys posted I'm telling you go with Vietnam jungle boots they are closest thing just need to mod a strap on them and weather!
