Kooky Quartet for Cap 2, please

Hawkeye would be Cap's initial partner, while Wanda and Pietro would be freelancers working for some supervilllain organization and its leader, the main antagonist. The four are enemies at first, then later join forces to take down the bad guys. Cap and Clint then work it with Fury so that Wanda and Pietro can serve in the Avengers as part of their sentence.

Hmmm... It'd be interesting to have Cap deal with QS and SW, especially since a new origin would have to be explained for them in Cap's movie, and for it to be a good movie, that means whoever/whatever created them would have to be part of Cap's storyline. Hyrda experiments perhaps? Could be interesting.

That said, I think I would enjoy it, so long as including QS and SW don't derail the story, but having to rescue them from a Hydra facility could be interesting.

Yeah, if/when the Maximoffs enter the Avengers picture, I see HYDRA as the best alternative to Magneto and the Brotherhood (which, of course, movie lawyers forbid them from using).

No. Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch are not natural Captain America characters (and Hawkeye to a lesser extent). We don't need another film people will slate as an Avengers advert.

just put a different spin to it and it could work. replace Scarlett Witch with Black Widow and Quicksilver with Falcon. Refer to it as Kooky Quartet once in the movie. And you still have your espionage SHIELD team.

Thaaat's not a different spin, that's a different group and a different story, really.

I agree that QS ans SW are not natural to Cap, however, I think in a limited capacity, they can be contributory instead of detractory to Cap's story. I mean, Hyrda has to field something, right?
