Default Cyclops Pulverize Adamantium

Hello All
I was digging thru some old hard drives, and i found a bunch of comic book scans. Amongst them was this gem of a panel indicating that Cyclops can Pulverize Adamantium.
Just thought i'd share this with everyone. It's the yellow box on the right. It reads:
"Cursed with uncontrollable Optic blasts capable of PULVERIZING ADAMANTIUM"

Cyclops Pulverize Adamantium
Cyclops Capable of Pulverizing Adamantium
Cyclops shoot thru Adamantium
Cyclops blast Adamantium
Cyclops break Adamantium

I never noticed it before, thanks for sharing, though I will be content as long as the writers can just tell his optic blasts and Superman's laser apart.

HEY! This is the perfect thread. Cyclops is one of the few "heros" from Marvel I like.

Where can I read his adventures/place where hes most influential at?

One of my all time favourite issues.

Crom - Cyke's awesome in Claremont's first run (X-Men #94-141, Uncanny #142-175). You can get these cheap in the 'Essential X-Men' TPBs. You can also get Essential X-Factor which, from the first issue, has Cyke leading the original X-Men and is well worth a read.

For more modern stuff Cyke's pretty bad-ass in Joss Whedon's 'Astonishing X-Men' run (Astonishing X-Men #1 - 24) as well as 'Secret Invasion: X-Men', 'Avengers/X-Men: Utopia', 'Messiah Complex' and 'Second Coming' - all of which can be bought as TPBs.

Hiya folks, first time for me here, read little of X-Men

What is with the ruby quartz glasses Scott puts on to hold his laser back? The handles of his glasses aren't attached in a way to keep them steady enough on his ears so the laser won't push the glasses off of his face

I'm under the impression that ruby quartz isn't just resistant to the energy from Scott's eyes, but actually nullifies its effect as well. I think it does it by absorbing the energy.
