Dr. Ratha said the whole "Do you really think it was an accident?" because it wasn't a stroke of luck that he got powers, it was the only outcome.

I don't think Richard experimented on his one and only son. He loves him a lot, as you can see in the trailer. Unless he was forced to (putting Peter and his wife at risk), I don't see it happening.

exactly, thwn when Peter meets with Doc. Connor he tries to make the formula with lizard DNA but the efects are also exterior and becomes the lizard
EDIT: i mean Richard experimented on himself to create the spider, then when Oscorp tried to use it as a weapon they couldn´t because the spidey would only transfer the power to Peter, like a Password but instead a close DNA Genome?

What if the place where Dr. Connors is in the trailer isn't any ordinary prison, but it's the Vault? It'd be so cool to have something like that in Webb's Spidey-verse. An Arkham Asylum of sorts.

No, i think he wants to go to Prison to pay his Crimes,he is suposed to be a good person who wants to help humanity but turns into a monster

I don't see why he would choose to do that when he could.. y'know... continue doing work which would/could benefit millions.

And the Vault is a prison. For supervillains.

That's all we need more people saying SM copied Batman at something. First with Black Cat and now this. Let's not and say we didn't.

That's more than likely what happens, but I'm just saying, it's possible that it's not just an ordinary prison. Stuff like that would be very nice.

do have to question why someone, possibly norman osborn would be allowed in his ordinary prison cell to talk to him

maybe he tells peter more then he should have and the lizard knows he has been there because he finds parkers camera

You answered your own question really. If Connors is targeting OsCorp in some way, then Dr. Ratha will be the top dog to go after if Osborn is only in the shadows of the company.

But why OsCorp in the first place? Who knows...what if Connors is trying to seek answers on the wherabouts to his former partner as Lizard? Perhaps Connors is trying to use the reptilian ego in finding his own answers while the reptilian ego starts to create its own agenda...such as turning NYC into lizard people.

The Avengers have made 80.5 mil on Friday, and it is on track to break the record for OW gross. Even though ASM doesn't belong to Marvel Studios, it is still a Marvel superhero movie, and I want both movies to do well. ASM is definitely the Underdog of this year. Just like X-Men First Class was for 2011. And just like what First Class did in 2011, I truly think Webbs Spidey will do in 2012! It's so under the radar because of Avengers, and even more so, Dark Knight Rises! But I think Spidey will Rise to be a true champ as well, this year. I can't wait for it! Much more hyped for this one, then I was for Avengers - I kit you not!

I have a feeling that Ratha is going to try and steal Connors research and play it off like it's his own.

That or Lizard needs access to the OcCorp laboratory equipment and Dr. Ratha is pretty much the only one who can grant that access?

My friend, who was a major Sam Raimi Spider-man fan, says that this movie looks way better. He also said that he thinks this new costume is a lot cooler, and that he really likes the lizard in this movie. Always nice to get these kind of reactions
