Can't help it. When I think of Bane, I think of a steroid freak. A guy that is physically imposing and intimidating (in before "Hardy's acting skills will make him intimidating and will make up for his lack of cut and build). Same way when I think of Joker, I think of a clown. When I think of Batman, I think of a guy with a cape that looks like wings and a cranium with horns.

Exactly. That's why I have no qualms over the guy who said that he wishes Hardy would've been bigger and more ripped but what's done is done.

I can't help but to respond to delusional Nolanites that hype Hardy up to be a physically imposing Bane and anyone that is more ripped and bigger than Hardy is a steroid abuser and an unrealistic physique. It just proves that the said Nolanites have never stepped into a gym.

I'm more interested in his character and what his arc is. The size was never an issue for me, and I've put up with the nearly unintelligible bat-voice for two films so I can ignore how Bane sounds.

Size was never an issue for me and Hardy is pretty big anyways. But his performance looks terrifying and that's what I'm excited for

Since when has the word monstrous have to do with size? From what we've seen Hardy looks pretty monstrous, imposing, scary and tough to me.

Going through TDK Returns today..wouldn't it be awesome if we got some form of tribute to the Mutant Leader mud fight in terms of dialogue during Batman and Bane's final fight?

In the comic it goes:
