The Green Goblin in TASM

This thread is for people to post ideas about how the Goblin should be put into this new trilogy.

Ex: How should he become the Goblin? What should he look like? How will this effect Peter and his past?

No, this not like the other Green Goblin thread. That one is just for how he should look.

I think he should be introduced slowly. I'd like to see Oscorp and Osborne have an actual presence in TASM's universe before they go completely Goblin. As it seems TASM wants to do things a little bit more tethered to the comics(so it seems) I'd like to see something as close to identical to the creation of the goblin in the comics as possible..Mendel Stromm, finding the formula, and the whole 9 yards, imho.. Can we post possible Osborne's on here?

John Hamm(Don Draper)..Mad Men guy..I definitely get a corrupt evil corporation head from this guy..plus he looks younger than dafoe(though dafoe is iconic imo) and since I would like a slow introduction as far as the goblin, I think he would fit perfectly for osborn having a presence in the films befoer GG actually comes about.

I think Jason Isaacs should be the green goblin, he looks like norman Osborn and can act really well, here's what he would look like as Green Goblin

Yeah, I thought of Issacs but he felt a little obvious to me. Sweet picture though. I wouldn't mind him in the role either!

I liked the way he became goblin in the Raimi movie but it should be more of a gradual transformation, like the experiment should happen in the second movie where he first try's the serum, than overtime in the 2nd movie you see him drinking the stuff like he's addicted to it, and then at the end of the 2nd movie he comes out in costume which could hopefully set up an awesome 3rd movie but for the 2nd movie villain it should be Electro

Kind of like Harry Osborn in SSM. Used it to enhance his abilities and make the FB team and then he was addicted and BOOM green goblin for a time.

Electro would be cool..But I'm hoping for Scorpion in the sequel.

I honestly wouldn't object to Norman Osborn showing up as the overall Big Bad of this series but the Green Goblin being absent. In recent years I've found that Norman Osborn himself has grown into a superior villain than his green-masked alter ego. The Green Goblin tormented Spider-Man. Norman Osborn was a threat to The Avengers!

As for who should play him, how about Stephen Dillane, who plays Stannis Baratheon in Game of Thrones?

Here's a question...do we even have to see Norman become the Goblin? This guy could literally just appear out of nowhere to Spidey, do his Goblin stuff, and the pieces come together (like our knowledge of the serum and all that) after he is unmasked.
