a few months back Mister Meddle kindly pasted a yellow bat oval on a manip that I did. I liked how it looked and wanted to create a version of the manip where it was mostly black, with Bales head from TDKR and try to bring some uniformity to it. Was hoping as the next Bat production should try to use the same material(color and texture) for the cape, uniform and cowl. The result is not as I hoped. Included are the manip and the raw version with just head replacement in case someone would like to take a shot at putting a cape on it or whatever.

That actually looks pretty cool. A lot of the trunk-less but gray suits look kind of awkward to me

Has anyone else noticed the blatant hypocrisy of the Bat-boards defending Catwoman's suit?

What you mean after the years of "teh realism!" now it's "well not everything has to be realistic", the fact that a yellow oval is stupid, but fighting on rooftops in high heels is fine. Yeh I have but honestly since TDK got released I've barely gone back, I mean some of the comments in regard to the director are borderline disturbing.

i absolutely love the cape and cowl combo from batman returns, if only that suit had the muscles from the first one itd be the perfect batsuit, that being said, id love to see a bat movie where the dark knight moves like he does in the comics...i think batman is one of the only characters that would be the best being adapted directly from the comics, the fact that hes peak human, worlds greatest detective, great inventor etc etc

That CA manip with the oval looks cool, though I would personally love to see it with a grey colored body instead.
Overall I'd say I love most kinds of Bat-suits, all depending on context. So when I get the context of the next Batman movie I can start to fantasize about how I want the suit to look. |

I don't get why people compare it so much to CA, different contexts and different characters.
I would really like to see a Batman more akin to the CA in The Avengers both in suit and fighting. But it's not for Nolan's Batman and that universe. |

The only thing I'm not fond of about Cap's new suit is the "hood helmet".

I think what would be great to put on a live action Batman costume would be the whited out eyes on the mask, instead of the black paint around the eyes, we are used to seeing.

Even though I hate TDK suit I rather if they kept the concept. CA suit is different and it wouldn't suit and bot are different characters.

What? That's just crazy talk.
The point is, the Cap suit has shown you can do a Batsuit that is fabric based and looks more like his comic roots than what we have ever gotten on film before. I'm tired of all black rubber. |
