What I would love to see is Batman and Huntress interaction and her meeting up with Catwoman as well. I would also love to see Powergirl meeting up with Superman and Supergirl. But more or less looking forward to Huntress meeting up with Batman and Catwoman.

I thought the first issue was pretty good but I wish we got more of the big 3. I really liked Earth 2 Batman back in the day and I'm sad we wont get more of him here. World's Finest sucked. No thanks. Gross costume, Power Girl, go away George Perez.

She'll be this world's greatest detective, i wonder who the bad guy of the 1st arc is? We got reanimated corpses and monster rats appearing on these covers.

I've got mixed feelings. Allan's new costume does not look too bad (A Kingdom Come feel to it), but Jay's is horrible. So Hawkgirl is now a black woman hmmm? Well I'd be lying if I said my curiosity was not piqued, but I can't say that I appreciate 70 years of continuity seemingly jettisoned.
I have a lot of love for what has been lost.

As for my opinion of Robinson, what more can I go on that the last few years, which haven't been exactly stellar. I found it very much like his Justice League stint; and, thus, my current opinion of Robinson's work hasn't changed. Looking back, of which I have purchased and read most of Robinson's work, I feel the same way about The Shade (I could hardly get through some of those issues), War Of The Supermen, Adventure Comics, and Justice League: Cry For Justice. (I won't blame him for the Darkest Night stuff. Most of those tie-ins were just the same story being told over and over again; so, it was for that reason that I was not a Blackest Night tie-in fan.) That's September 2009 to Present. Your argument makes me think that I should only hold Robinson accountable for his early work, and forget about the current three years of mediocre work (of which this is my opinion). |

I'm not crazy about her using guns but she looks pretty cool and hopefully DC will take this oppurtunity to have her continuity make sense again
Love that they're continuing to add more diversity to the DCU too

Then they should create more ethnically diverse characters, not change the ethnicity of a pre-existing character. What if they changed the race of Cyborg or Mr. Terrific ....would that be great too?
(I'm not trying to be antagonistic here, just playing devil's advocate...really).

Well Marvel created a brand new Spider-Man, Morrison is going to have his Superman of Earth-23 have focus on Multiversity and whatnot, but yeah when it comes to original black characters, they usually just come up with lightning powers.
However, there is Batwing! |

This. If there isn't some gimmick to the guns, characters in superhero costumes shouldn't be carrying them.

They should shoot actual hawks at villains instead of bullets

Not bad except for the guns which are superlamesausce.
If they were smart (they are not), the Hawks would be Egyptians. Best/least sucky costume of the faux Earth-2 so far though. |
