I'm just impressed by how similar he made both films look. They don't look like two entirely different movies at all. Even his blending of the two scores was seamless.

I would watch that movie every single day during it's theatrical run.

I haven't read through all of the pages and so I'm sorry IF this has been asked or just repeated many times But anybody else think Burton actually made his Bat films more Bat accurate than Nolan?
I don't want to start a Burton vs Nolan war and I myself really enjoy Nolan's Bat films&am looking forward to TDKR..But I just think as a CBM adaption Burton did it more faithfully in some ways when closely comparing the films!! Batman in B'89 started as a myth/legend before being established a hero as he has been in most origin stories in the Bat comics,The Batsuit looked as it did&does in the comics except in rubber bullet proof armor than tights and in black,He used the grappling hook gun in B'89 more than he did in BB&TDK combined and actually used gadgets&Bat weapons like smoke pellets then used more stuff in BR!! The Batmobile was closer to what comic Batman would have than the tumbler and he even named his stuff with"Bat"in it like Batclaw&Batwing(which was much closer to the design Batman has had in the comics than the one in TDKR)! The Batcave was comics Batcave! Batman's fighting style was more comic accurate! Bruce Wayne was smarter/more mature and less naive like comic Bruce than Bale's Bruce! Jack's Joker from his look/motivations to do crime(most of them)/mannerisms&most dialogue and even his own weapons like the electrocuting buzzer&acid coat flower to the playful teeth thing after getting punched was pure comics Joker! Gotham City looked like comic Gotham! Even the score sounded like a true superhero score! In Returns the villains were way off But at least Catwoman overall looked like comic Catwoman! |

I'm in a B89 mood today. I'm gonna go to the store, get some taco supplies, grab a few beers, and watch some B89.

9 times out of 10 I usually hate fan made rubbish that's poorly put together, but this is that 10th time. This was very well done and very cool. I love when two different projects like this can be very well put together to almost appear legit to someone who wouldn't know any better.

For $1,000-1,500 you can get a damn good projector, screen, and surround sound system.
