It's been removed, apologies I didn't have the time to go through every page from nearly 12 months ago, never saw the image before thought i'd share it with people, thanks for the confirmation, i'll resist posting on this exclusive thread in future.

This movie just won't have the same feel as the original. People will be saying, "Why isn't he wearing spandex? And where's his cockpiece?"

Checked. So what? I just merged two pages together. Because nobody else did this. Better than crappy scans.

Brilliant thanks for the explaination, just post two pictures that are already on the page and clog it up further, but hey I posted a picture from 12 months ago, irritating isn't it being called out on adding a picture, when your trying to add something to a thread. Keep up the good work.

LOL, yeah. The new Dredd costume is actually pretty badass. It's funny, it had been so long since I saw the crappy Stallone version that I forgot how awful his costume was.

Dredd is having a positive reaction at Cannes: http://www.deadline.com/2012/05/clou...es-screenings/
Of today’s Dredd screening, IM Global’s Stuart Ford says, “The reaction was great. It was as packed as any screening I’ve seen in Cannes. There were people sitting on the floor in the front and the back of the room.” (And that was after the air-conditioning had gone on the blink just ahead of the movie; Ford says there were no walkouts, “even though it was about a hundred degrees.”) Dredd, directed by Pete Travis, stars Karl Urban, Olivia Thirlby and Lena Headey. It’s a project that would also normally have been set up at a studio, but instead, Reliance Big Entertainment and IM Global financed DNA Films’ $40M adaptation of the UK comic created by John Wagner and illustrated by Carlos Ezquerra. Today’s screening allowed “people who bought it for a lot of money 18 months ago” to get a look at what Ford says is “an edgy, cool film with a rocking soundtrack.” Compared to other superhero pictures coming down the pike, Ford says it “appears very fresh and distinctive. It’s Dirty Harry meets District 9.” Lionsgate is releasing in the U.S. on September 21 and there are two territories remaining that Ford expects to close possibly “before the evening is out.” |

It only cost 40 mill? Interesting, hopefully it'll be a success then.

Good to new it got a positive reaction, with good reviews it may get people to go and see it and it wont need to make tons of money to be considered successful. I really hope it is successful as more 2000AD characters coming to the movies is only a good thing.

I really like the "Dirty Harry meets District 9" reference! This tells me it'll be Escape From New York on steroids!

Interestingly it says .. Peter travis directed! After that whole thing about the director leaving the project
I wonder if he was drafted in just to direct the actual traditional movie making process and then they had another team to... Make it Dredd, add dredd aspects in post for example... Adding megacity1 etc.. |

This guy is going to make some money on Dredd. Of course he praises it. I want to hear ordinary people's opinion. Or Dredd fans, at least.
But the best argument is the trailer. |

Its Basically 4 months until this is released. There has to be a trailer coming VERY soon.
If the movie is finished they MUST have a trailer ready to go. I can only assume they are trying not to get buried under the Avengers/Spidey/TDKR hype. But theyve got another 2 months of that, at least until TDKR hits. Unless they attach to TDKR.. that would be a bit of a coup. |

Prometheus is also a very potential title to attach the teaser to. It's that very gritty sci-fi/action film that Dredd seems like will also be.
