I visited A2Z Toys in Florida Mall this afternoon and picked up Bane, Bats, and Alfred.

The guy at the store said he had 3 cases and each case had only 1 alfred.

He was selling them already for $24.99. Figured paying a small premium was worth having them now and not having to deal with the hunt on the 28th unless all 6 hit that day.

The figures look good, same ol bats....alfred looks good and Bane has very good detail.

I actually asked him he said he didn't know but that he knows the street date is 5/28 for everything. He actually had quite a bit of the line from the movie out. I only have interest in the movie masters obviously but he had the smaller figures and a few other things. Nothing that really caught my eye.

It's more of a mom and pop store, I think it's why they're getting away with putting them out early.

I sure do miss when I was a kid and these toys were 6.99 or 7.99 if you went to Kaybee. At least then my parents would get me two of them instead now they'd only be able to afford one.

Doesn't everybody miss those? Back in the Toy Biz days, a Marvel Legends figure cost about £8.00, but with the new ones that are coming out, I think I saw them for £15.00! I was literally going ""

What's worse is Hasbro seems to be quite below Toy Biz. I mean, their 3 inch crap is embarrassing but Marvel Legends wise, they just aren't as good. Even the packages are ugly.

Personally I like the most recent packaging, but with the number of different elements to them I can see how they could be called ugly. And I agree that Hasbro has always seemed to be of a lesser quality then Toy Biz, with an apparent downgrade in the detailing in both the sculpt and the paint. The return of Marvel Legends figures do seem to be getting better at it though.

I pre-ordered Bane and Bats before they jacked up the price on Bane. They also have catwoman for 19.95. Screw that. Kinda crappy how Amazon raised the prices.

Also, I have a wal-mart item number for (I think) Bane: 550063943. This will help look up the assortment, so if they have any of the case, it'll show up in the onhand quantity.

Edit: They now have Catwoman and Bane up to 24.95! Holy crap!
