BP won't happen before Strange or Avengers 2

The last interview with Feige gave us a huge clue in how this whole thing might play out. We know there's an unrevealed film coming out May 16, 2014. We know there's another unrevealed film with no date that may or may not come out before Avengers 2 - which is clearly the "2015 Event Movie" Feige hinted at. We know Feige wants to do ANT-MAN with Wright but he's just "not sure when". This is what I'm thinkin'. Feige said the studio only wants to do 2 films a year. I think if Wright can be ready to shoot ANT-MAN by early 2014, ANT-MAN will bend the 2-film-a-year rule & come out in November of 2014 as a third MCU feature that year. If Wright isn't ready, then it'll be saved for Phase III & we'll only get 2 films in 2014. What I'm 99.9% sure about is that the May 16, 2014 film is GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. ANT-MAN's definitely happening, its just up to Wright whether or not it takes place in Phase II or III. Doc Strange & BP are being saved for Phase III. Thanos' imminent coming gives GOTG precedence over Strange.

With Mads Mikkelsen as one of the villains, it's probably Malekith as one of them.

Most intriguing however were his comments on the mystery 2014 movie. "Our next step," said Feige, "will be to introduce a character outside the Avengers' world."
That sounds like Dr. Strange to me. Feige might be purposefully misleading here, but note the singular "character" - not "characters" (which would rule out Guardians of the Galaxy).

Yeah, that sounds like someone more in line with strange, panther, Namor, or a singular space hero.

Sounds like they want to introduce a new environment

I'm so glad to hear this! I'd be happy with either Dr. Strange or Black Panther. I don't think Namor's going to be tackled this early.

I say it's Doctor Strange because Asgard will be the reason alot of the new franchises begin.

Think about it Asgard has had a profound affect on the MCU. I think with the Destroyer stuck in Earth Odin's Treasure Room will be robbed in Thor 2 (Echantress & Executioner) and send all the artifacts scattered all over the 9 realms.

One of those treasures is the Orb of Agamotto.

It'll probably be Dr. Strange but my left field choice would be a Captain Mar-Vell movie to set up other cosmic stuff and Danvers.

from what i've read, the eye of agamotto wasn't the "trophy" you thought you saw.

But they did conform that the Orb was in the Trophy Room. Thor 2 will be more magical I believe if Enchantress & Malekith are rumored to be in it. Like I said earlier it's no coincidence that the Destroyer's on Earth, so that would explain how someone could steal the Treasures.

The recently released Art of Thor movie companion book sheds new light on Odin's Vault, providing clear pictures and text describing the other notable objects under the protection of the Destroyer. Here they are:

The Orb of Agamotto – Not to be confused with Dr. Strange's pendant the Eye of Agamotto, this Orb is a fixture of Strange's headquarters and acts as a scrying device similiar to a crystal ball. It's also been shown to act as a teleportation device among other unique traits. It's like a metaphyical iPhone — a communications device with all sorts of nifty apps.

That would have been really, really awesome. Hopefully whatever marvel decides to do though, turns out just as great as a Del Toro Strange film would have.

I think Feige's being purposefully misleading. My money's still on the following line-up for Phase II: IM3 (2013), Thor II (2013), Cap 2 (2014), GOTG (2014), ANT-MAN (only if Wright can get it done in time for a November 2014 release) & Avengers 2 (2015). For Phase III I predict Doc Strange, BP, The Inhumans & maybe a Thor sequel. I don't think Phase III will feature Cap or Iron Man sequels. I also think Luke Cage & Iron Fist are gonna pop up somewhere in Phase III, either in their own solo films or someone else's. The Submariner & The Punisher I see getting no love until Phase IV (if we ever get there).
