Don't believe the hype guys, just a few hours ago we were talking about how WB is waiting for the Avengers hype to die down. Though, with Dark Shadows flopping they might need to start their engines.. even ref it a few times.

wow I wonder where Avengers and TDKR will end up on the all time worldwide list... Avengers will be #3 soon... can't see it topping titanic though... TDKR is really going to need quite a few repeat viewings

I think TDKR will be somewhere below TDK. I don't see it breaking TDK-numbers.

I'm more optimistic. I think it'll just about do it, especially if it proves to be a fine movie.

I'd imagine TV spots with the conference finals and championship games (NBA). Thats probably why they 'presented' the game today to get the nerds to keep coming back to watch the games.

Well they showed a new Prometheus spot. Not looking all to bright for a TDKR spot.

i dont know, I think it will top TDK simply because ticket prices are more expensive and I'm sure they are going to market the length of IMAX footage

I'm sure the movie will be good, but I just don't see the same hype around it like TDK had. Add to the fact that Bane is the main baddy, it just doesn't have the same appeal that TDK had with its hype and its more favorable characters.

Yet Inception made $825,532,764 and that didn't have the advantage of being an established franchise, The Joker, or any other constraint that people attribute to TDK success at the box office.

I think people are really underestimating TDKR. It'll make a billion.
